Here we finally learn the truth about where the Spinosaurus came from! The Dinosaur Protection Group is reporting some really unfortunate things about Isla Sorna as well as its dinosaurs! It would seem that the Spinosaurus is actually an illegal creation that was experimented on and abandoned on Site B long, long ago! Oddly enough the Ceratosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Corythosaurus also have their backstories explored within this new Fallen Kingdom site! :D

seriously.. idk why it gets all the hate. i mean i def would have changed a few things n made it better. like the spino just staring at them all stupid. with a phone ringing in its belly. n they run thru a hole in the fence n it just destroys that shit. . i think most just hate it for the rex fight. wich was kinda wack... like its going to snap its neck like stevan segal in 1989.. make it fight a trike or stegosaurus or have it munch that ceratosaurus by the shit when its staring at them al stupid lol. then the rex stares at them all stupid. and the pteranodon stares at them all stupid. yea def the worst jp i guess lol. but stil don't deserve all the hate it gets. the raptor staring at her al stupid behind the test tube. n that kids fuckin dead lol. n so r they when that plane goes down. elli don't have the national guard on speed dial. she couldn't even hear who was on the phone. that shit was in the water. damn that's a fat youtube comment...... ima go do something else now

jp3 was good in the fact we didn't have to wait to see some real dino action. Was it too short? Yes. I look at more like an interim film between jp2 and jw. Jp3 wasn't originally supposed to happen the way it did. Alan grant thought he was giving a tour, and they found that spinosaurus which wasn't on ingen's list.

One last glimmer of hope for the Spinosaurus being alive is that it was simply a combination of being too big and too dangerous to move. Also if it was experimented on, pretty sure that's why it was pissed-off with humans.

Wait, so then that means that the Spino WASN'T present on Sorna during The Lost World, after all! And it also pretty much confirms that it was a super hybrid like the Indominus considering that literally no other dinosaur displayed that much power and raw strength, along with Wu's "accident on Sorna" comment. Now I REALLY want to see it return in the flesh, one way or another! I know I seem like a Spino fanboy right now, but it just seems plain lazy and pathetic for such an awesome individual creature to be taken down by a bunch of InGen soldiers off-screen.

A-H1 n2 The Indominus Rex seemed to hate humans as much as the Spinosaurus did, I mean, the I-rex only eats human flesh, she killed many dinosaurs throughout the film, but never ate their meat. Maybe the I-rex was driven crazy by months of experiments after her birth and killed her sibling as a result of it all.

Not sure of how to feel about the Spinosaurus being illegally bred, but part of me thinks it was illegally bred for a plan to weaponize dinosaurs like Hoskins was planning, so it might have been a slight hybrid attempt. Not sure if this was the reason, but given the Spino’s actions (including that messed up fight with the T. rex) I wouldn’t be surprised if it was revealed to be a hybrid.

This would probably explain the Spino's behavior and why it was so intent on hunting down the human survivors. If the Spinosaurus acted as a progenitor of the Indominus than it probably possessed a level of intelligence not shared by other large carnivores like the T-rex. The Spino's intelligence could have matched that of the raptors who also showed that they more interested in recovering their eggs than feasting on the humans. If, the Spino was experimented on then, over time it may have grown a deep hatred for the humans that experimented on it. Once realeased into the wild, it never let go of its grudge against humans. Similar to the Rex Pair of "Lost World", this animal potentially viewed as a humans as threat on unlike, the Rexs it did not pursue humans to defend an infant or expand territory. The fact that this animal, runs into Allen Grant and Kirbys almost at ever turn, shows that the Spino is specifically hunting them down in an effort to kill them. The Spinosaurus was probably far too dangerous and potential liability to be kept in captivity and most likely had to be put down. However, I believe the animal is still alive on Sorna because, wereas InGen could not contain it, they could further study it and omit future potential risk in their gene splicing.

The spino was a beast. Much like frankenstein's monster or doomsday. When we see it battle the bull t-rex, it's having trouble at first. But isn't attacking/defending like a normal animal. It's using some bit of intelligence. Hence the snapping of the rex's neck. No normal animal would snap a neck in that manner. Even i-rex didn't do it. So I agree the spino had a raw hatred for humans, and went to great lengths to eliminate them. The spino also reminds me of broly from dbz. However, based on what Eric said about the spino being attracted to t-rex pee, it's more than likely the spino is a seek and destroy any credible threat to itself. So in the chance encounter the spino met i-rex, it would try to kill it, based on a perceived threat level.

I have a strong feeling that the Spinosaurus is still alive and WILL show up in Fallen Kingdom. For one, why would the director give up the chance. Two, it was the top predator on the island. Three, the ankylosaurs were also secret experiments but we know they were shipped off to Nublar because they were featured in Jurassic World, why not the Spinosaurus?

I'm just glad that the debate about "how Trex should've won" can finally come to a neck snapping end and spino's win being legitimate. Hybrids, as we seen with indominus and now spino, are prone to be far more aggressive than "natural" dinosaurs to the point where even powerful theropods like Trex wouldn't stand a chance. And if anyone wish to find some excuse to keep debating, just keep in mind that hadn't blue intervened, the indominus Rex would've killed rexy just like spino did with a merciless neck snap.
@sambit2901singh
@sambit2901singh 4 жыл бұрын
Indeed ...also noteworthy that though Raptor Blue helping Rexy made the difference, the I.Rex had almost single handedly manged to be victorious save the Mossosaurus intervened in the end else tough to pick the outcome...

@@sambit2901singh "I'm just glad that the debate about "how Trex should've won" can finally come to a neck snapping end and spino's win being legitimate" You might find it strange but as a honest to good t.rex fan im quite happy to hear such words, because it shows openess from the spino side (wich all too often blurs real dinos with JPs) to the idea that the spino was in fact an hybrid, wich honestly is someting it worries me a lot for their potential reaction should it be fully confirmed. I really like the hybrid theory because in my eyes hybrids basically "do not count" by beign basically bio-enginered super weapons, and i see no shame for the rex by losing against them; i feel no real need to have any rex to be stronger than any hybrid and have no qualms in accepting a overall superiority of hybrids over "normal" dinos. Sure, if i could've choose, i would't had them in the first place, but hybrids proved nontheless to be a valid plot point wich took the story foward from a dead point into the second trilogy, so props to them. As a final note, im convinced that it wasn't impossible for either rexy or greenie to win against their foes, (especially in the case of rexy since she still gave an extraordinary performance in the second part of the fight Blue non-withstanding) but, due to what i've said above, it is not a crucial matter since their opponents were hybrids.

This information gives me a new personal perspective on the Spino vs Rex fight. In my mind at least I now see it as a fight between a mentally damaged, tortured creature that had only known pain, and a normal healthy animal. The Rex was only fighting for territory and food, the Spino was fighting for it's life. So while the Rex held back from the killing bite that it could have easily inflicted (normal animals in the wild normally just fight til one backs down afterall), the Spino did not show such mercy.

Great to see them expanding upon the lore that falls in line with and simply elaborates upon what we already know about the franchise. The Spino and the other three dinos can be summed up in these three quotes. *Scoffingly* "Nothing in Jurassic World is REAL!" -Dr. Henry Wu ..."Now what John Hammond, and Ingen did was create genetically engineered theme park monsters. Nothing more, and nothing less." - Dr. Alan Grant "Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with weather or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should." -Dr. Ian Malcom

I think the Spino might be alive, but not in a good way. I think this MIGHT have to do Something with the IndomoRaptor, and the Inomonous Rex. What if the Spino's blood or DNA got injected into the 2 dinos? Maybe thats how they got their strength.....

Know we know why it hunted Dr. Grant and the other people of the 2001 incident IT HATES HUMANS. There would be no way For The spino to be properly housed in a theme park without it trying to A) escape B) eat anyone who got to close C) Those who hunted it would have had a hard time even Tranqing it since in jp3 it shrugged off an airplane hitting it as if it was nothing Does anyone else feel like the spino deserves a better Moniker than The Spino or is that just me?

Kinda makes me think that Dr Wu was up to no good from the get go. Isla Nublar was the park that was the "attraction" while Isla Scorna was the testing grounds to create monsters. JP was used as a front to get less shady funding to create the monsters for their weaponry like Private Pyle wanted to do in Jurassic World. If this is true, the Jurassic Park/World franchise just got 10x more interesting. Like could nedry have actually been getting those dna samples for masrani?

AFGThugonomics9 Yes, I feel the same way. But that amalgam testing and replying to your comment on the other video, that actually kinda confirms that the Spinosaurus was taken to Nublar... but FUCK! That doesn’t explain how the skeleton of the one in JW looks absolutely nothing like the one from JP3. Here’s a copy and paste The research and growth of these animals were filed under “Early R&D for Jurassic Park’s second incarnation” and simultaneously “Amalgam Testing.” ■ The new species included: Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, and Spinosaurus. All were abandoned on Site B, until the surviving animals were reportedly moved to Nublar to be housed as future attractions at Jurassic World. ■ A number of these new animals had originally been reported by the survivors of the plane crash on Isla Sorna during the summer of 2001, but the information was quickly buried by “bribed officials.”

Clicked on this vid faster than you can say "Alan!" Seriously though, this would explain why the Spinosaurus persisted in chasing the group in JPIII, it must have an intense hatred for humans after all that experimentation. Any thoughts?
@rutgerdejong1700
@rutgerdejong1700 6 жыл бұрын
Yeah like some sort of imprinting mechanism. According to this article on the DPG site, the Spinosaurus was the subject of experimenting for quite a while and of course it saw these humans during this period and got negative memories or something about humans because of all these experiments. So when it saw the humans from JP3 on the island it must have recognized there bodyshape/way of moving/sounds and linked them to these negative memories from its past, the experiments it suffered from. That's why it chased them around the whole island in total rage.
@KlaytonFioriti
@KlaytonFioriti 6 жыл бұрын
I love the explanation! I think its solid!
@rutgerdejong1700
@rutgerdejong1700 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The article also states at the bottom that all the surviving animals of these four secretly cloned species (Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Spinosaurus) were transported from Sorna to Nublar to function as future attractions. So maybe the surviving Spinosaurus was also transported to Nublar somewhere in between 2001 (the year of the events of JP3) and 2005 (the opening year of Jurassic World) but died in the first couple of operational years of JW. I'm not saying that the skeleton in JW is from the Spinosaurus from JP3, because that skeleton looks way to small to be the skeleton of the JP3 Spino, but the JP3 Spino could've died in JW too. Maybe that's the reason that the extictionlist on the DPG site has the Spinosaurus name in red which indicates it's extinct on the planet now. If the JP3 Spinosaurus would still be alive on Sorna, I think the staff of Masrani and JW would've known about that and the Spinosaurus wouldn't be listed as extinct on the planet on the DPG sites extinction list.
