Nice analysis! It's been super fun to see all the conversation and takes on the Jets for the past few weeks. Winnipeg usually gets little to no coverage even when they are playing great, so it's been great to see deep dives into the players, systems, and management during this record-setting start to the season.

Team has been amazing and deserves the coverage. One of the best fan bases too! Thanks for watching🙏🏻

Honestly the Jets have been great, you love to see it especially after last years short post season, I definitely see them as a cup contender if they continue this way. Love the videos keep up the great work.

Winnipeg is the only team that plays this well that people never talk about. It’s weird lol

Small market is probably the biggest reason. Let’s change that because this team deserves some coverage for how they are playing🤝

@@jimmyhockey -- The whole "small market" thing is a misnomer. The Winnipeg Jets have been a thing since 1972. They won 3 Avco cups in 7 years. Their years with Hawerchuck and Teamu Selanne were incredible. Jets nation spans most of Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario. Our market isn't as "small" as people might think.

@@jimmyhockey I think it's more to do with the lack of playoff success. Outside of 2018, they've won just one playoff series. Last year, the playoffs were a chance on the big stage for them show how good they were. And they wound up being manhandled in 5 games. And it doesn't matter that the Avs were a year removed from the cup and were a tough opponent. Every playoff opponent is tough. The teams that go deep meet the moment, and Jets didn't. The team NEEDS playoff success to compliment how good they look during the regular season. Otherwise, nobody's really going to care how well they look in the regular season because they know they're not a threat to do anything in the playoffs.

Cheveldayoff is the most underrated GM in the league. Period. Arniel is the right coach with the right mostly Jets-drafted team. Anyone who still doesn't take the Jets seriously are just haters of the city. Anyone with actual hockey knowledge and sense knows. The greatest start to a season in NHL history is no mean feat.

Chevy has done a great job resigning players despite the small market. Truly underrated

I can't believe there are still hockey fans out there that pronounce Nikolaj incorrectly.

I have no idea what you mean👀

For the jets it just feels like every single one of there players are having a career year and they are playing “perfect hockey” as a team. they have 11 player with over 10 point in 16 game and 3 with over 20 points. Is it going to last I don’t think so but they are for sure interesting to watch at the moment
@jimmyhockeyАй бұрын
They will definitely settle down but by the time they do they will already be in the playoffs. Hopefully if they hit a low point in the middle of the season they can regroup and find their game again right before playoffs

@@jimmyhockey yes i just hope they can see some playoff success this year some players on that team deserves it

Its all about GAS. Does the Jets have enough fuel to go through the regular season and playoffs? My guess... They burning a ton right now.
@jimmyhockeyАй бұрын
Depends, sometimes when you build a strong culture of winning you never fizzle out, other times you are the 2022/23 record setting bruins and crumble in the playoffs
@Madbro204Ай бұрын
This is probably a blimp, they most likely won’t maintain this all season, and into the playoffs

Last team to have a record like this was Ottawa who just so happened to make it to the cup finals that year.
@jimmyhockeyАй бұрын
We will have to wait and see but either way they deserve some coverage for how they are playing
