he was amazing. Sadly , he never had a team in front of him. Goals were hard to come by. When you lose a series while having LESS then 2 goals per game allowed , it show that the problem wasn't in net.

man price was always one of those guys who meant the world to me. Idolizing him throughout my life and i have to give him a huge thank you not only for such entertaining hockey over the years but also sharing his story about alcohol abuse in the fall of 2021. His story was the reason why i finally spoke out of a story of my own. In the spring of 2020, i was dealing with some mental issues as well and while it wasn't too concerning at first, it was by early 2021 when it became real bad to the point where i could hardly sleep, hardly get up out of bed in the morning no matter how much or little i slept, was always feeling tired and clumsy when i shouldn't have, not talking to anyone anywhere, getting angry at people over the littlest things and sometimes randomly breaking down crying at the littlest times for the littlest reasons and much more. I was in a living hell and in the fall of 2021, I finally broke my silence on my issues and Price was a primary part of it. Same goes for with his teammate Drouin at the time but that isn't the focus right now. 2022 for the most part was a terrible year as well due to these things and it wasn't until the fall fo 2022, when i finally started to turn the page and start recovering on a consistent basis and it has grown very nicely since then. All of this happened so fast since 2019 was the best yea of my life and i was really starting to reach my potential that year until it faltered the next couple years after with growing pains, midlife crisis like feelings and mental struggles. Not sure if i will ever be the same as i was then but i surely have been trending in the right direction since late 2022 and idk if it wasn't for price's story who knows where i would be today? Sorry for long comment just a lot to reflect on myself.

i understand if they wanted to go in a different direction (although i was hoping he'd be a bolt for life and i am sure many others did as well especially since he was quite open to taking a giant discount in order to do so) but they could've communicated that better. Transparency is key. The way they did it was very insulting in my eyes i mean as you said the bolts were a poverty franchise prior to his arrival and once they drafted him, he pretty much single handedly revived them and turned them into a world class destination and team. He also made so many players around him better as they built around him ofc kucherov being prolly the most notable example of a guy who sure benefitted a lot from stammer's guidance. that 8 yr $3 million deal they offered was ridiculous because the term was way too long and the salary was too low. I think his agent was only asking for like $4.5 million which would've been a steal in my eyes. Stammer always put the team first which was what made him the beauty he's always been. If they really did want to keep him they could've made more offers that would've been more friendly for all like 3 years $4.5 million or 4 years $.5 million not too long or short of a term and a salary not too big or low. Or simply say as ai said, we are going to move forward.

On their behalf, I’d like to challenge your favorite team to a 3 game series. We’re going to go with Ullmark in net. Good luck.

Good to see a Jack Eichel story video, and its great to see him succeed. Buffalo definitely screwed this up, so hopefully their scouts and continue to work miracles for the Sabres and hope they dont mismanage their next star players

Raised in lake county Illinois and a hawks fan forever Too many tazer hi lites to recall if I had to pick 1 it was the little lift pass over a defender to somebody near the net who put it in for the tying goal in Boston during the finals Shortly thereafter the 4th line , Dave somebody gave them the lead and the cup

I think the trade between the Sabres and GKs is basically a win-win, considering that Tuch is a playmaker in Buffalo, too. But judging by the performance of the Sabres lately, it's already starting to become more slanted to Vegas.

I wouldn’t say win win, it wasn’t the worst trade but with Jack being a franchise player and some other teams like the flames offering Matthew Tkachuk, they could’ve gotten a lot more had they handled it a little better

Hey man, I enjoy your content a lot. Great story telling, good voice, great analysis but the zoom in and zoom out clips of you at your workspace are really annoying. Like, really annoying. It really cheapens your production and goes from “great mini-doc” to “great mini-doc with a random dude at his computer”. Obviously most of your videos are not on you but I really think if you ask your audience if they’d prefer narration/highlights versus narration/clips of you talking/and highlights, they would take the former. It’s not that you’re an ugly dude, we just, as content consumers, do not need video if you talking. It wastes time. This is excellent content though and I am subscribed because of it. Maybe I’m wrong and don’t take it from one dude on KZbin but think of an audiobook. You can love the narration but at no point do you need to see the narrator.

It was sad because his career was cut short by injury, so he couldn’t play as long as he would’ve liked. However, I would argue that he actually went out in a fairly decent way, because Habs fans will always remember the epic playoff run in 2021, and even if they didn’t win the Cup, everyone knows that he basically sacrificed his health just to make it to the Final. So while it’s sad that he couldn’t play longer, I think you could argue that he went out on a high.

Bringing in Pesce, Dillon, and Kovacevic has been such a game changer. Seems like Pesce has rubbed off on Luke Hughes as well bc Luke defensive game has been absolutely stellar playing w Pesce this season.
