They need to completely overhaul their communication methods and appoint a dedicated community manager. I remember with wfc the team at high moon released vidocs about the games updates and features to get everyone hype asf…what happened to stuff like this? I know splash damage isn’t high moon but don’t reinvent the wheel. Do what worked before! Being a huge transformers fan, I think this game needs to have superb core game modes and mechanics. We need a good story, Raids (endgame) , PVP, horde modes like escalation, character customization etc. the finished product needs to justify the absolute neglect of the community and fans. If they can’t deliver I would honestly just rather have wfc and foc remastered. No point of playing a mid looter shooter when I could just hop on destiny

The entire game should just abandon the live-service aspect and be a standard gaming experience with a campaign and online multiplayer like the Cybertron games. Live-service games just aren't viable to make and die in at least a week

Microsoft is actually working on getting both the cybertron games and dark spark and devastation re-licensed to be able to sell them again. They are getting major updates on the store with new screenshots and videos on the stores. They will be available on Xbox, Steam, and PlayStation.

At this rate GTA 6 will be released and we will get a ‘we got this before GTA 6’ equivalent if this carries on Honestly…., scrap reactivate if it’s not even close to being done and make either WFC remastered games or a Transformers One style game

It’s been scrapped, it was scrapped in December 2023, Hasbro won’t admit until the Toy line is complete which will be early 2025. I truly believe it has been scrapped and until I see something concrete to state otherwise it has been scrapped!!!

I feel like Hasbro keeps sabotaging Transformers with their incompetence. TF One was a great movie but the marketing sucked and nearly killed it; TF Earthspark season one was pretty good, but they got the same people who made the Megamind show to make season 2 and it's worse in every way; Ractivate has been in production hell for 7 years and we know nothing; and we haven't gotten a proper TF game in almost a decade. The only think that hasn't had major issues is the Skybound comics, and that speak's to Images competence more than Hasbro.

At this point i just want remake of cybetron games or at least to be rerelewsed as they were (since they aged well). Meanwhile it would he cool to get like an MMO set on earth, with similar somewhat post apo setting where you crewte your own transformer, with weapons, body, alt mode (or modes) etc and explore large map, fight enemies and cooperate with other players.

Screw reactivate...itll be another live service slop and the devs give little to no info on it. Imma just replay the bayverse games and cybertron games instead. If this even comes out and IF its good then cool but I'm not losing sleep if never releases or if its bad.

The worse part is why people is tired of live service games. It's because those game expect you to play them as a job and not a game, constantly using fomo to keep you playing and punishing you for not playing the game. Often releasing as free to play games to then be filled with battle passes and store items worth thousands of dollars. The only game that has proven to be an actual live service that doesn't abuse of the players is Helldivers since you can earn premium currency just by playing, get passes by playing and you never miss anything for taking a few weeks of months without playing. But you know, most games try not to copy the player friendly example of games like Helldivers, they aim to follow Fortnite example, so we end up with games like suicide squad, concord, overwatch 2, etc. Transformers reactivate may not have negative reviews, it may not have bugs, but I would be amazed if it reaches 10k players. And after not reaching a healthy population for a live service they will probably shut the servers after a few months. At this point, I don't even want a remaster for foc and WOF, just re-release them so I can buy them at a reasonable price (I no longer have my 360) and re-open the servers, simple as that

I see your point, but I do gotta push back a little bit and say that I think this game will be fine. I mean I’m sure it won’t be as big as Fortnite, but I think it’ll have its place in the sea of live service games. But for Transformers fans I think for the most part we’ll enjoy it, and hopefully casual fans will enjoy it too. I love the Cybertron games, and I would love to have them back and remastered. But I want something new, I want Reactivate.

The game's dead. We got hyped for nothing unfortunately. Sucks because this was shaping up to be an awesome game, with all the leaks and everything, whether that content was going to be used or not. But I could kind of tell that the fact that announcement trailer came out what? 2-3 years ago? and just relying on leaks for new info meant the game was dead. So yeah idk if it comes out great. If not, not too bothered anymore to be honest.

You said a lot of words but none of it made any sense. You think Reactivate is outdated, a game that hasn't even released yet with an original story that has never been seen in Transformers before but then you talk about WfC/FoC and Devastation which are actually outdated games at this point. I love WfC and FoC but I don't need those games remastered. If anything I'd want a sequel but not a remaster. Also the freeplay looter shooter or whatever you called it, we use to just call that a First Person Shooter. They've existed since the 80's. It was never a new style of game play to begin with. You act like it was just a popular fad for a while then it died out but people still play those games you mentioned. Plus I personally don't care about the other games you mentioned. I typically hate that style of game. In fact WfC/FoC were also that style of game and I loved them because it was Transformers. Finally... honestly... my hope is that they're trying to make the game playable at launch instead of releasing an unfinished game and then having to download like 5 different patches before it's actually playable like every other game that comes out. Even if there was better communication, just look at Ship of Heroes, that game has been in development for like 20 years at this point and they still post updates about the game's development but I don't think it will EVER release. There's not even a reason to release it anymore. Ship of Heroes was originally meant to be an unofficial sequel to City of Heroes to fill the void after NCSoft shut down the servers. But now City of Heroes Homecomming is producing new content so we don't even need Ship of Heroes. Good communication doesn't really mean a game is ever going to happen and a lack of communication doesn't really mean a game isn't happening. You gotta understand with professional industries they have NDAs so they legally aren't allowed to communicate anything.

Nowhere, also FOC and WFC are completely different situations, they are both single player with no live service elements that require the amount of communication that TFR would need. They also received multiple trailers and had marketing partnerships to promote. None of that for TFR has ever been a thing.
