Wouldn't be bragging about that, they were way past their prime

So many people we hear talking about boxing, always show how little they really understand about the sport, with their very own words! And it is nearly always about Mike Tyson! So shall we just do the truth and the facts, rather than this pure comedy, we hear here? We always hear these people claiming, (every day), that Iron Mike Tyson, was some former boxing great, many actually claiming him as the best, the G.O.A.T.! Yet if ever asked to name us these great boxers, (they must believe he beat), they never name anyone, because, Iron Mike Tyson, lost to every quality boxer he faced. Who was the one top-tier boxer, that Iron Mike Tyson, did beat?... Oh, that's right, it was Larry Holmes! Who came out of retirement to fight Mike (for the money) ... He left his walking stick at the bottom of the steps, leading up to the ring! The factual, real truth, is, that it wasn't a "motivational thing" that stopped Mike, it wasn't a "drug thing", or a "money thing", not even a "woman thing", no, what stopped Mike Tyson, was ability. He's been wrongly claimed as (a former boxing great) by many Americans, because he became the youngest Heavyweight Champion. And over the years, they've tried to make out he was a great champion! - Only great champions never duck other boxers, and they win their titles from current great champions, as opposition. What we really find, looking back over Mikes career, without the hype or bullshit, was a career that was entirely fabricated by Don King. And fair play to King, it was smart stuff from him. He saw a golden chance for the WBC world title, against Trever Berbick, (who isn't a great boxer), who had won the WBC title from Pinklon Thomas. King, then, saw, James Smith, (who isn't a great boxer), beat Tim Witherspoon to win the WBA world title, and straight away, he wanted, and he insisted, Mike got to fight him next. He then saw Tony Tucker, (who isn't a great boxer) win the IBF title from a fat, Buster Clueless, and of course, Mike had to fight him next. He then won the WBC title again, when Don King told the WBC to bypass Lennox Lewis, (who was the mandatory for Frank Bruno's WBC title) Frank had just won from McCall, and the WBC indeed, gave Mike Tyson the first shot at the title held by Frank, (when that should have been Lewis). Then, after Lennox sued Mike Tyson, (for refusing to fight him), and won his case. Don King then paid Lewis $4 million to step aside and allow Tyson to fight Seldon, (who isn't a great boxer) for the WBA world title, (with Mike Tyson, agreeing to the court ordered contract that he'd fight Lewis next, if he won). But after beating Seldon, Mike then again ducked Lewis, rather than fighting Lewis, Tyson relinquished his WBC world title, and he fought Holyfield instead, (losing his WBA title), while also ducking Lennox Lewis. So the tale of the tape, when we ignore all the lies, and all the casual's bullshit, is very clear... Mike Tyson won every title he held from bums, and lost them to a non-top tier boxer, Douglas (although we can say Buster fought like a champion that night), and lost the others to Holyfield. And no boxer, whose ever ducked other boxers, can ever be seen or considered a former great anything? How can they be great, while knowing they ducked fights? LOL. That's more commonly known, as pure ignorance, and typical US bullshit! Lennox Lewis was the real deal. No man can lay claim to have beaten Lennox Lewis, as the two that did, both got beaten up in the rematch. (Rahman got brutally beaten up by Lennox, after disrespecting him, then knocked out cold), and McCall just burst into tears, in his rematch. Lennox not only beat every boxer of his own era, (who would fight him), but he also beat the next long term Heavyweight Champion, (Vitali Klitschko), in his last fight! Unlike Tyson, Lennox Lewis beat up everyone he faced in the ring -Including - Vitali Klitschko - Mike Tyson - Hasim Rahman - David Tua - Michael Grant - Evander Holyfield - Željko Mavrovic - Henry Akinwande - Oliver McCall - Ray Mercer - Tommy Morrison - Derek Williams - Glenn McCrory - Gary Mason (one of the most underrated boxers in history). When Mike Tyson faced any of the top fighters of his era, he always lost. So how can anyone even think of him as a former great boxer, let alone one of the best? LMAO.

I agree with most of what you say, except saying that Tyson won all his titles from bums. Berbick, Thomas, Tucker, and Spinks (from whom Tyson won the "linear" title) were not bums. Just because someone is not a great fighter doesn't make them a bum. There is something in between, you know. Besides, whatever you think, Tyson's reputation is based on the fact that he unified the belts. You can't blame Tyson if the men who held the belts at that time were not all-time greats. It was the same for Holmes. Apart from maybe three decent fighters (Norton, Shavers and Witherspoon), who did Holmes beat during his reign? Yet Holmes is rightly called an all-time great.

Americans are famous for ignoring the world so that they can focus on themselves. Joe Calzaghe was always ignored , yet men he beat are called great . There was a panel show with the Greatest Super Middleweights of all time, yet no Calzaghe 46 - 0. It took till one of them pointed out ,that Calzaghe beat everyone on the panel from his era . 2 of these former World Champions claimed that no one hit as hard and as often as Joe and it made a lot of Boxers go for t he Hail Mary excuse " He should have to come to us . After all we are the Challenges and he just a mere UNDEFEATED WORLD CHAMPION ". Over a decade as Champion ( longest reign as Champion in his era ) . Over 20 title defences . 46 and 0 , no Conor McGregor's or any Paul brothers on his list. All quality boxers . All went away beaten men. American boxers in his weight division refused to go to Britain to challenge him , for he was the undefeated Champion. So as a man nearing retirement with 2 destroyed hands . He went to the USA and went through their boxers like they were just average . They couldn't hide out forever. He mocked them for their inability to keep up with him . Joe Calzaghe was an endurance machine and the greatest non heavyweight in the last hundred years. You have to go back before World War 1 . To a Middleweight Bob (Fitz something ) who beat Jim Corbett to become only the 3rd Heavyweight World champion in history , he also won the lightheavyweight world title on his all conquering journey through the heaviest divisions . He and he alone is the only one even close to the Welsh Stallion.

@ Learn all about the sport, clearly you understand nothing, man! Holyfield never got anything like the following and recognition he should have been getting, and still getting, today! Holyfield was so much better than Mike Tyson ever was. He is the first boxer in history to win a version of the heavyweight title four times. He was an undefeated Cruiserweight champion, winning a world title in only his 12th pro fight! And went on to unify that division in only his 18th pro fight. (Very rare for a non-gold medallist to win a world title until after their 20th Pro fight). He UNIFIED the division! In only 18 pro fights. Making him one of boxing's finest Cruiserweight champions in the sport's history. He moved up to Heavyweight and in the 25th fight of his career, (only his 7th fight at Heavyweight), he won the WBC - WBA - IBF titles from Buster Douglas. He is the man that beat Bowe, the only fighter to do so, (though Bowe did beat him in the rematch). Bowe refused to fight Lewis, and that destroyed Bowe's legacy. If he had fought Lewis, whichever of those two fighters had won, would have been recognised as one of the top 3, heavyweights of all time. Holyfield, like Lewis, fought them all, he beat most, and did so much in the sport of boxing, that he's an icon, a legend. A true boxing superstar. Yet very few, if any, Americans will understand this, but they will tell you Iron Mike is a former great boxer! LOL.
