Sorry to hear about this friend, thinking of you. I lost my dad a year and a half ago and it was honestly only up until recently that I left a basically vegetable state. All I did was watch movies/youtube, eat, sleep, work (rinse and repeat with little to no variation). Its hard, grief is hard. Time is all that helps. I still struggle but I'm here. Lean on those who you can, if theres no one - lean on yourself and talk to your brother. I'm not religious, but I still talk to my dad sometimes.
