One thing about Trisha Paytas, she’s going to speak her mind. The viral megastar has made a career out of unabashedly spilling her heart out to millions of viewers. While she’s been both praised and canceled for it, Trisha has never been afraid of stirring the pot.
Now, the meme queen is taking back the mic and truly telling it how she sees it-from the latest Internet drama to the hottest celebrity gossip. In this weekly podcast, Trisha gives her hilariously unfiltered take on the biggest headlines and trends currently taking social media by storm. Spared and protected? Men have the highest rate of suicide and very little mental health aide. I don't know where you're getting that perception, maybe antidotal...? but there are plenty of stats that prove otherwise. With Mr. Beast, his goal is to make the best video possible. That means highest click through rate, highest watch time, most engagement. He does that by trying to tell the best story with the footage he's given. This is clear from plenty of his other content and interviews he's done. To claim he's trying to push this boys club narrative is ridiculous. Lots of his challenges had female winners. The most likely scenario, is that the video edited to have other people be in the top 3, made for a more gripping ending, while preserving the real final winner. Mr. Beast wouldn't be at the level he's at today if he was sacrificing a videos story to fulfil some weird boys club ideology.

Its okay to make mistakes as long as you don’t hurt other people. It sounds like mr beast has internalized sexism, let’s hope he learns and grows from this. It’s important to question everyone and everything always! Otherwise, the cycle will continue to hurt people, including men.

as someone who's autistic and has adhd, i had a lot of learning disabilities and difficulties and only recently got a formal diagnosis so having people speak on a big platform and raise more awareness and normalize that yes some people struggle but that doesn't make them dumb or not successful is so so helpful!

I have a diagnosis but I don't say shit about it because I haven't quite broken into my field yet & a flimsy little anti-discrimination law can't force corporations into NOT avoiding the depressed, autistic person with ADHD when similar applicants DON'T come with these difficulties that may need accommodation. I'll spill the beans once I am heavily depended on so I can finally have that support & so that they have a reason, besides being empathetic, law abiding human beings, to take me seriously.

I feel both of these comments so much. I recently got an adhd and math learning disability diagnosis. While accommodations have been super helpful to me in college, I couldn’t even imagine bringing this up at my job…. And I definitely related to Rosanna about feelings of low self esteem when you’re in a position that you don’t excel at, or tend to make a lot of errors. I’m working a remote job in customer service, and while I do great with being personable and having good encounters with customers, I struggle with the program we use especially since the UI looks about as old as windows 98, everything is so disorganized with 1000 different windows popping up. So I appreciate her speaking on her experience. I can’t wait to finish college and obtain my counselor certifications.

@@coconeaux yes! i felt this too, there was so much i wanted to say in my original comment but i tried to keep it short because i did want people to read it and for people to pay attention a lil, writing a long comment won’t get as many attention bc of people’s short attention span i struggled so much throughout my school years and i dropped out of high school im trying to get back into it but it’s so hard! specially that im west asian, there wasn’t even a doctor to diagnose adults that was for free and the only doctor available just left the country and now we have no one for adults again, it costed so much money, people don’t understand that sometimes getting a diagnosis is actually not that helpful and in some cases makes it harder, there is no legal discussion about accommodations only private companies maybe will allow them if they understand but all companies by the government don’t even recognize hidden disabilities, and for physically disabled people that their disabilities are obvious are not allowed to work in many fields, my own family still thinks im “normal” and some of them even don’t believe in autism. it’s very fucking painful to exist in my country that is so anti literally everything that i am, anti queer, anti freedom of religion and speech, anti disability etc.

What I'm getting from this is Ro is me PRE-therapy. Stuff feelings down, smile and be easy to work with. Unfortunately, people take the "easy to work with" as "easy to walk all over" due to not pushing back. From someone who is therapized: THERE IS NO SHAME IN PUSHING BACK. You can call shit out with grace and dignity, and still be a person that people want to work with. And I get it, Irish Catholic here. We stuff our feelings down, but that creates more issues in the long run.

The face-off thing was INSANE I remember watching that season as it aired and now I feel so bad for all the women that were on that show. And to discuss the unfair edit she got from Mr. Beast I think is an incredibly strong thing to do. He’s so wildly admired no one really speaks up if something on his productions doesn’t feel right. Even if it is all for charity for the money donations, keeping Logan in and editing Ro out was so wrong and it took this pride away from her that she felt when she finished it. That’s insane to me.

Trisha is SUCH a talented podcast host. You can tell how much time she takes prior to having the guest on, getting to know their background and the things they’ve done. She asks important and fun questions, and is such an active and enthusiastic listener. She adds to the conversation, never talks over people, and really has such fun dialogue with all her guests. Love love love to see it!!

Unfortunately in a cruel, unfair world, being a genuinely kind woman often automatically makes you a target. Add being conventionally attractive on top of that, your existence triggers many ppls insecurities. I’m proud of Ro for speaking out about it because it’s not easy to. She’s right that keeping quiet about it allows it to keep happening. You can never win.

i’ve always known of rosanna but never really in depth, and this interview was such an amazing introduction to her! such good energy

One of the many alarming things here was that, if I heard Rosanna correctly, the "house" had zero windows and the residents were not allowed to know what time it was. Additionally, the production team disrupted their sleeping schedules by keeping them up late and waking them up early, which seems like torture to me.

I have to say. After watching Ro on Fool Coverage and then her on Trish's podcast, she seems more open and comfortable on Trish's podcast. I feel like I got to really know her more beyond her KZbin channel here and I love that! Trish truly has a gift for this.

I definitely agree. I listen to/watch fool coverage as well and maybe it’s just the manner in which they conduct their interviews but Laura and Manny always kinda seem like they want the tea or whatever while Trish is like “we could sit here for 3 hours and you can tell me about your dogs last vet visit for all I care let’s just chat!” which I think makes her guests more comfortable.

i feel for her so much, it's obvious that all of these experiences over the years have been taking a toll on her self esteem. It sucks so much to be apart of something and to constantly be made to feel like youre just less than everyone else or not as important which is what it seems like people have been doing to her for years. I truly feel for her and i hope that shes able to get the recognition she deserves

Trish has really grown so much. I was an avid frenimies watcher, so to see her thrive and blossom in her own environment makes me really happy. It seems after Malibu she really has grown as a person mentally. I'm so proud of how far she has came especially with female friendships! Her and Tana have been making me really happy. She just needed another girl to stick by her side. WIth BPD, an illness based in abandonment, it makes holding friendships hard after being traumatized for making one mistake and being dropped over it. I have bipolar disorder so I appreciate some of the representation Trish has been putting out. She has really been through a lot. I didn't know who Ro was prior to this, but she seems like a very kind - hearted, brave woman. Glad they both can uplift each other because women deserve their own, equal state to create content. Go women!!!

Thank you Ro. I'm still in Act 1 for the next few years and I resonated with quite a bit of what you said about who you are and such. I didn't know all this about you but thank you for letting other women like me know who you are. I know it's not your usual content but I'd love to hear little updates whenever and if ever you feel okay sharing, of your journey. Even hearing how you want to grow and how we have similarities, has helped me.

Ro has been my childhood KZbinr, and I loved watching her baking videos when I was really little. Even tho I'm 18, I've always been a savvy baker thanks to learning from her videos. Her presence in media is so refreshing, and I really related to her when she opened up about people hating on her/trying to make her look bad because she's "too nice." It's sad that we live in a world where just being a kind human, who isn't always power hungry or super competitive, is looked down upon. I'm so so happy that Ro spoke up about her experiences, because it helps the rest of us not feel so alone. I know what it's like to be exposed to violent environments from a young age, and seeing all that hardship has made me into a sensitive and gentle soul, like Ro. I just want to see everyone succeed, because I believe everyone deserves to live a happy life. I'm so so happy Trish had this conversation with Ro; I could see Ro's relief through the screen. I love both Trish and Ro, and you guys totally slayed this episode. The vibes were so comforting and safe. Also I love how Trish has Moses and Ro has Mike, I can't wait to find my other half like they did. Love you guys!!!!!
