I started with two strands, definitely because of the costs... but I also was curious about how it would actually loc. And it's amazing how they are coming along. I'm 26-months locd and many people think I have sisterlocs because they have started to condense so much so many can't even tell how I started. I'm not completely locked, but it's slowly getting there!! 😊

Yep, that's usually the case. Most of my clients who started off with two strand twist (not relaxed) locd faster and can't till how they started.

@EnToiBeauty It is definitely amazing what our hair can do! I did contemplate on maybe getting sisterlocs because of how many you have on average...but the more I think about it, I believe I made the right choice at that time.

What if my hair was texturised not relaxed and only texturised once? My curls are looser now though

I’m considering starting Sisterlocks or microlocs in a month or two on about 2 to 3 inches of new growth and I have about 12 inches of relaxed hair. I love videos like these, very informative🙂 I plan to make braid outs my go to style lol Question: would you recommend conditioning the relaxed hair to keep it manageable? I don’t think my stylist plans on locking it all the way down the shaft so my relaxed ends will be loose.

I started my micros with two-strand twists on natural hair. I have approximately 220+ and I'm not sure how to maintain them 😭😭😭 can I retwist??? Or should I interlock???
