@@MoistGal i think step up not just because jjk but she also did the main character for 2 more seasonal anime after STR (Mou Ippon and Yurei Deco). She has the potential to get better roles and one of them I am suspecting to be is Boy's Abyss if it gets an adaptation because her voice will be perfect for one of the characters.

She was copied while haine was still in control of the "shadow's" so basically she isn't a shadow of the "mother" but instead she belong to haine=the sweet child and she is a hero that will saved them all, and called as the "egg or traitor"

Immunity only happens when a person's shadow has been destroyed. The same person can probably be scanned by mulitple shadows as long as their shadow(s) haven't all been destroyed.

Still dont get it why in the first place Shiori's shadow dont have killing instinct, did i miss something when watching this anime ? Because Shide also call her "defect" and "she is the egg". She also awaken the eye that i thought she will steal it from Haine's right eye but later it stated the right eye become Hizuru's brother shadow

I think there's a chicken-egg style evolution thing here; Hiruko(whale, big shadow under the island-mother) was the successor to asteroid form; it had basic survival intelligence; eat or be eaten. This is why she plotted to consume people at the festival, she was hungry. Haine and Ushio at the end of the series are a direct successor or an egg to Hiruko form; they both desire to satisfy their hunger but also more considerate towards humans; they care for them, trust them and avoid harming them. But they both lack the ability to create conscious shadows, Hiruko(mother) however has this ability. It has control over the other shadows except the egg forms(Haine and Ushio ) Ryuunosuke...? Idk wtf is going on with him; his conscious seems to be the data of his shadow-self which is similar to Haine and Ushio; immune to Hiruko yet doesn't have any of the abilities of neither mother or egg form; he's more similar to Mio's shadow; free to do whatever he wants but doesn't have a body. Shide is the exact opposite of Ryuunosuke; he's a human conscious that in control over a blob of unconscious shadow mass and a number of clones that born from Hiruko back when it was under control of Haine. Haine and Hiruko got separated when Haine lost control of herself and killed Ryuunosuke. I think this is how it goes.
