How cute are those goats?! We were not expecting to see them in Scotland 😂 have you been to Galloway recently? What did you think about the new facilities?

You guys! I totally know what you mean about the sunshine. I grew up in the "Valley of the Sun" aka Phoenix Arizona Metropolitan area, specifically Mesa, AZ 🇺🇸 Growing up 35 years in the desert 🏜 where we'd get maybe 30 days of rain per year (that's totally a guess, I have no idea, but it's not much lol) I moved to Vancouver, WA, 🇺🇸 7 years ago. Y'all! It took me at least 5 years to acclimate to the darkness. Those winters full of S.A.D. were horrendous. I've been on the mend the last 2 years and this year was the easiest winter yet. Living without vitamin D can be super debilitating. All of that to say yes!! Chase the sun! Let's go! 😁 mental health comes first💜

Price of sites dearest £22 mostly £18, we feel that’s better for winter, most sites empty. 😎

Apart from the black Friday day storm we had that made us lose power its been so boring this winter weather wise in my neck of the woods (NE) ..zero snow, barely any wind not a whole lot of rain either just very uneventful. And mild aswell, although no where near as mild as the previous 2 winters, I was literally going around in a t-shirt it was so warm the past couple of winters and I hate that! I LOVE the snow and winter weather even the storms! Basically everything Gemma and Campbell don't lol

Honestly guys the weather has been 80% rain and Wild Wild Winds. My motorhome was like being in a washing machine on fast spin!!!! I thought I was going to end up dead while driving. I gave up and arrived back home in the real South, no different here either. I hated coming back home but a good night's sleep was really needed. Hari OM Even for a place that is known for its rain, I have to say this winter ahs been exceptionally wet - and dark. I was actually pondering (day dreaming) the other day about van life during such times and knowing February to be almost always the worst month, whether it wouldn't be best to find a tame farm with a spare shed to hunker down in for the month each year. Paying a seed rent for use of water and electricity. I say this because that is what my parents did - my first six years of life were spent in a caravan! The folks had three farms on which they stayed extended periods. Made life-long friends with the farmers, too... Anyhoo - hope you find something worth cheering in Sasanachland. YAM xx

I’m glad you’ve said that. We’ve not spent a winter in Scotland in 7 years and we were really trying to think if it was always storm after storm like this or whether we were just noticing it more being in the van! It could be a good idea! We just had a number of work commitments that were meaning we had to travel around quite a bit! Hopefully we are starting to see spring coming soon 🥰

Hi Gemma and Campbell,, I want to inform you of this legal information that you can if you choose to use it to your advantage,, if the registered keeper of your vehicle is in Scotland, then any parking tickets or parking rules in England and wales with the exclusive exception of the square mile of the CITY of LONDON, have no legal standing (jurisdiction)to enforce any said tickets, including councils, they can issue vehicles with tickets and chase said tickets up for payment, but they don’t have any legal remedy to collect payment without your consent ,they have no cross border jurisdiction, it’s a handy bit of information that most folk don’t know and you can research this information for yourselfs, it’s handy for any your visits down south, love your content and just subscribed ,,👍👍👍,

Brilliant if you haven't watched the film the kingsman as when the Queen dies we will be entering the new Kingdom but the goat is pivotal for Masons but apart from that and animal and I do love a goat stew Caribbean style

Sorry - Eyre peninsula, definitely South Australia not Victoria and as coastline and beaches go very different from each other

Yeah the beaches around the Eyre peninsula are some of our favourites 😍
