I’ve been in wedding wire and the knot for 3 1/2 months with tons of leads and 0 bookings. In my area it seems like people are there price shop instead of intentionally book a service. It hasn’t been worth it for me at all in my area. Wishing I chose google ads or facebooks ads instead 🥴

I would recommend google over facebook, at least in my area there is a lot of price-shopping on fb, if your not spotlight on WW/TK then people are mostly going to be price shopping

great video i have actually talked to wedding wire salesman yesterday and honestly they are pushy. there are surely mixed reviews about them but i think you have given the honest opinion and i am glad that i didn't sign up with them now!! THANK YOU !!! the salesman told me that the dj count in my area was low which obviously anybody starting a dj business is going to look into that before making that jump..my market has a ton of service providers so the conversation started with false information.

I’ve been debating the ad space, but I’m also factoring timing. Pandemic and vaccine affect a surge for next year. Are you getting any feel for people’s booking reservation or anticipation in 2021 and looking toward 2022? Thank for the review.

It's tough since my state has the worst vaccine rollout numbers in the country, I am definitely seeing a lot more traffic to my website but my weddingwire has gotten few leads I the past few months and the account advisor keeps saying theres going to be a surge but I think it would be best to wait till weddings start happening, I saw a surge last year when things reopened but that died when things got shut back down again. I would always say to try to avoid weddingwire no matter what because they are going to use the "surge" to add more advertisers so its probably not going to help the advertisers at all. If that makes sense. Lol.

Thank you! Excellent content!! My big problem with Wedding Wire( as you mentioned) is that if you don't have,say, at least 10 reviews on Wedding Wire, it's not worth paying for the ad. I understand that but everybody has to start from the bottom in the beginning. When you first joined Wedding Wire, did you have any reviews? I would say you didn't. My main source of lead is Thumbtack and I'm spending anywhere between $1200-1500 a month. But I get a lot of price shoppers, non-responsive leads and they cost me a lot. But I still make money. I have 85 5 star reviews and I'm an established Thumbtack pro. I don't mind if I spend $500 or so a month for Wedding Wire but I don't want to start with no review. I think I will talk to them if they will allow me to use some of my Thumbtack reviews for my Wedding Wire profile.

You will have to have the thumbtack people copy their reviews over to weddingwire for them to show. If your still in contact with the customers then that should be easy, if you are spending that much on thumbtack, WW might actually be worth it for you.
