Come on, follow me! We're going to check out a place I've lived near for so many years but never visited. Newark's Weequahic Park is a beautiful place with an 80-acre lake and a 2.5-mile loop. Despite its sometimes negative reputation, it's a wonderful spot! We met some amazing people, including Vegeta, a calisthenics expert, and Day, who showed us incredible fitness routines. Henry, our dog, was panting but enjoyed the walk. The park has numerous workout stations, stunning views and lots of wildlife, including ducks and turtles. Join us on this adventure and discover the hidden beauty of Weequahic Park.

You pronounced the park's name as the locals do, but it's also good to be aware of it's correct pronunciation. Awesome park. I used to sometimes stargaze on blankets at night. Kudos to you.

1000% my new favorite channel. While i have a canoe, i think you have inspired me. Kayak purchase is imminent. Was wondering if you have ya ever done the Raritan? I found the channel today, and am burning through the back catalog as I've lived around this area my entire life. Cool to see all these places I've been driving past for so many years. Cheers man, maybe see ya out on the water some day.

Hi Charles, I heard there may or may not have been a serial killer that used the park to dispose of the victims. It was word of mouth , never knew if there was any truth to it
@charlestaylor2480
@charlestaylor2480 Ай бұрын
I'm originally from Newark New Jersey and that lake in that park has a very bad history with bodies being discovered in it bodies being sunken in it cars with bodies being sucked in it and a serial killer from the late 80s who was chopping up his victims and scattering him throughout the park that park has not been cleaned since it was built they never cleaned the lake once they used to have a decent carnival there are years ago but that's about it you should try Branch Brook Park next that's a really good spot

You know , I happen to get randomly selected to have my KZbin channel audited by a significantly bigger channel/Nick Nimmin. He pointed out that the channel should have the family in it , if its a family channel. It may be confusing to new viewers. Thank for the feedback , and support

How come they repaved the Red walkway to a Muddy Brown. I've Always said they should've paved it in Yellow. "Follow the Yellow Brick Road". From the Wizard of Oz.

Ha, I guess the muddy brown is easier to keep looking clean. Like when you wear a colored Hawaiian shirt, no one can tell it has ketchup on it 🤣 . Goodbye Yellow Brick road
