Sandy, I'm so sorry. My situation is similar to urs but I only want to give u this advice that I refer to mentally, from Mr Rogers: always look for the helpers. In ur case, there are professionals who can help with transport or another rehab stay...with ur sweet personality, everyone will want to help u find solutions... even in this dreaded 2020 nightmare we r all facing. Just ask for help or advice or someone to listen to u cry. Uve been strong enough and deserve a helping hand...or 30. U had the courage to make this video, please keep us updated if only saying it's a good day...or not a good day, and nothing more. But we Dears are called dears because of our kinship and caring. We r only human so we can't do it all by ourselves

I know you're scared and have a feeling of dread and you're extremely sick and tired and unwell, but the main thing right now is finding out why. Once you know why you're feeling like this, then you can get treatment and make adjustments and hopefully feel the change quickly. Add to how you feel, your Mum also being sick.... it's really just not fair. 2020 has been so cruel and harsh to everyone, but i know you can make it through it. Just take it day by day and not stress over unimportant things, like making vids. I know you enjoy doing it and we enjoy watching them, i just found your channel a few weeks ago and really love your AJ vids.... but you and your health have to be #1 for now. You do know inside when you're just not feeling right, when it's not some cold or 24 hour bug.... you just know it. You know something doesn't feel right inside you, so you have to find out as quick as you can what it is and get treatment. As for your Mum.... i'm very, very sorry. This world can produce such beautiful things like Angelina Jordan's voice, but then be cold and cruel like this. You can get through this though, you seem like a very positive and strong person and you have one of the best smiles i've ever seen.... you will be showing it off again soon. Stay strong and take very good care of yourself and very best wishes to your Mum. Also, don't feel like you're letting anyone down on here either, because you're not.... we all understand. Please stay safe and healthy, don’t try to push yourself. When you mentally or physically can’t handle too much you need to set priorities and let go of a lot of stuff. It’s not good to hold on and keep pushing yourself, which will almost certainly result in more problems. So if you need(ed) a pause you could just tell us and leave KZbin as long as you need. It’s really hard to hear you are/were having a hard time. Don’t know much about your work or other things in your life, but hope you can take it easy and focus on your health first. ❤️💪 Miss your reactions, but health comes first obviously. I can even wait half a year if you needed it 🙏 Lupus seems to be mostly temporary and symptoms show up slowly so I hope eventually the symptoms disappear. Hope your mother gets through her situation as well, seems like you are in a real hard situation. You need time to pick yourself up and figure more things out. Try to keep yourself calm, I don’t think stress and fear cope well with your health.

Sandy, I love you and my heart grieves for you. At least you may be on the road to some answers. My sister in law has had lupus for over 30 years. Back then it was very hard to diagnose and people thought it was all in her head. Fortunately different medicines really help. You may also want to ask your doctor if they have checked for heavy metal poisoning. I have had cancer and The American Cancer Assoc.has ways to help your mom. That already happened when my father was dying. I had dozens of close friends before he became ill. People I considered to be like family who I had known my whole life. They slowly disappeared one by one. When my dad was sick I needed help fixing something so I asked my friends on Facebook if anyone could help me and someone I wasn't even close friends with came over and took care of it. He's been there ever since and has never once asked for anything in return. It was definitely an eye opener. People can surprise you in both the best and the worst possible ways.

Take heart, my dear, & know your own strength and courage. As many concerned people here have pointed out, one can live a long and normal life with lupus, given proper treatment. Also, there is help available with those everyday struggles in dealing with life's difficulties. When I needed help that Medicare didn't cover & I couldn't afford on my own, I turned to Catholic Community Services. Good people! They will provide anything from transportation to housework or gardening. They don't care if you are Catholic, Methodist, Muslim, or pagan. They don't even ask. They don't accept payment but are happy with donations. Sadly, they might not be able to function these days of the pandemic. But this too shall pass.

Sending you a virtual hug and love from Norway XXX My wife went through the same as you...she couldn't physically move, she had no strength at all. I took her to the ER where they found her blood pressure was really low. They didn't do anything else there other than send her to our primary care physician for more tests. The results came back...absolutely no vitamin D in her system. She has been taking 4000 mg a day for 18 months now, and although she has good days, she still struggles with very low energy levels and feeling weak. She also found out that she has hypothyroidism which is an autoimmune disease. Keeping fingers crossed for you that you'll soon have a brighter better life :) XXX

Hi Sandy I feel for you, stay positive 10yr ago I was experiencing a lot of pain and tired well I went to a rumatolist and I was diagnosed with fybromalgia so he gave me pain medication well I got addicted to them it was bad, I was taking oxidation, oxycodone, phentolal patch it was bad I ended in the hospital slowly they took me of them, I learned how to deal with the pain no medication there are days that I feel it so stay positive and I think there is a way for you to feel better. As a person that has went through that except in the reverse order, mom died, then shortly after my dad died, I know what that does to you but I was not sick myself. I have a couple family members that have lupus. You can live a long time with lupus yes you will have your bad moments with your kidneys and things so you can live a pretty normal life. Do not be afraid. You are one of my faves Worry will make you sick and I know it's difficult not to. But please wait until you have all the facts and you can address it head-on like I know you will. Also don't be afraid to ask for help for yourself and your mother. We all love to be Superwoman but sometimes we just can't . one of my faves so do what you got to do to yourself

I am so sorry to hear this. There is a way you can take control of your autoimmune disorder and feel normal through diet. The book 'The Wahls Protocol" by Dr. Terry Wahls is excellent.
