I was inside a shoe store the other day looking to buy a pair of running shoes. It seems all the existing shoe designers were thrown in prison, and all the manufacturers now use the same designer. In 80s, 90s, and early 2000s shoes were so nicely designed, with lots of real leather. Now they are all that stretchy fabric which looks so cheap. Not a fan.

Yet another great video! The thing I love most about this shoe is the simple construction. The same with the Slides and Foam RNNRS. One of Kanye's objectives as a designer is to create mass produced shoes with the least amount of components and experiments with more sustainable materials like algae. This is to make them more cost effective to produce in countries with better worker welfare standards.
@briansanchez98992 жыл бұрын
Then why are they so freaking expensive?
@wonton62272 жыл бұрын
@@briansanchez9899 More cost effective production and waste reduction rarely translates into a cheaper product unfortunately. Most of the time a more cost effective production method just means larger profit margins. Recouping initial costs for new methods and moulds is legitimate but that really doesn’t take too long. Time and market saturation is what will bring the price down. There will be a day you’ll be able to find Yeezy models on sale Nike currently have a Nike By You Air Max 97 where many of the options are recycled materials. They’ll run you £200 🤣 I just take the silver lining from the corporate storm cloud that at least waste is being reduced 🤷🏽♂️👊🏽

You may have gotten the wrong size. My foot is somewhat on the wider side, I went a full size up and wear them without the insoles and they are great for all day wear and after a year of wear still look virtually new and haven't lost any elasticity.
