The TRUTH About Yozora VS Sora | KH3 ReMind Theory

Coming up with a title for this video was kinda difficult, but I think the current one fits well enough. This video was initially me trying to explain how I think Sora got to Shibuya (because nothing yet directly explained it), and then I tied in my theory about Yozora & Sora's encounter being a dream into it and how I think Shibuya may be a dream place as well.. and how there may be layered dreams.. and yeah. So there was like 2 or 3 mini theories that all intersected, and I just picked one I thought would be the most eye-catching yet still relevant to most of the video. This is a good set up though for another video I have planned regarding the Unreality. That'll probably be up next so keep an eye for it!

@@NextGenNovelist I think the Master of Master is a self aware piece in a Reality he stages with "fiction" in the realities he is in .Basically, for him, realities are games, theater, roleplays. So he manipulates people to become "pieces" in Cosmic chess games to destroy the embodiment of the darkness of Kingdom Hearts by "playing the Games". Sora is one of this "pieces" but everyone else is, too, in a way.

I never notice before that the line changed depending on who won. I guess maybe it is because the ending is just perspective. I never really thought about how Sora got to Shibuya either.. You seem to be asking the right questions haha. Great video

I'm liking this theory. From how you've explained it, it makes sense that the kh3 secret ending and yozora's scene could be a flash forward. I also think the scene with Riku waking up in Quadratum was another flash forward and M.O.M. ending showed how he got there in kh3's secret ending which could be why Yozora was seen watching him.

The fact that the Final world is connected to dreams isn't unique to Yozora. Chrithy in KH3 states that Sora has been there in sleep himself, including the KH3 tutorial.

That's true. But Yozora seems to be more in control of the final world we find him in than Sora ever was. But you're right. I think this just further supports the idea they're both dreaming

Quick theory... Sora and the Kingdom hearts universe is Yozora’s dream and Yozora is the real world version of sora

I have an interesting proposal: People in the dream world, and by extension the final world, usually don't keep their bodies, unless brought there by someome with control over dreams (Fairy godmother, dream drop distance outfits), or unless they are using the power of waking. Sora ended up there by overusing the power of waking, but what about Yozora? Well, to access the dream world to wake up someone, you need to sleep (See Riku in Dream Drop Distance ending)... So what if Yozora has the power of waking? After all, he indeed would need it to save a certain someone who is in the final world... Like Sora saved his friends...

If the nameless star is named Sora as well, that would make sense for Yozora to have maybe lost his memories and only remember subconsciously to save Sora and know that's not what Sora looks like cuz his Sora is a girl.

Thank you, this puts my mind at ease a bit more know that neither/both aren't canon. Sora is in Yozora's dream then does that mean he entered is dream through the final world and is inside Yazora's Dream? OR has he made his way from The Final World to Yozra's Dream to his World. He connected to him in his dream and was pulled into his world perhaps?

I don't want to say they aren't canon, but I don't think they're as literal we might have assumed. And I think after he fought Yozora he might have ended up in another dream, maybe Yozora's, or maybe he really did cross over to Shibuya, but I'm thinking it's something closer to dreams

My take: The good ending is canon (I've think this has been stated outside the game) and I believe that the Final World Sora is in is part of the Fictional realm and is connected to but separate from the Final World in the KH realm. Which is how he is able to connect with Kairi for the Dark Domination battle; both are in different versions of the Final World. That, or the connection with Kairi thing is never going to be fully explained (not unlikely).

That's a fair take. I'll give my counter to it. The good ending is called "True Ending" in the game files, which in most JRPGs typically means the intended canon ending. As I've said before though, why would Nomura make two endings if one doesn't mean anything, when we've never had that before in the series? He could just be messing with us, but like I said, the good ending still doesn't explain why Sora wakes up in Shibuya, unless it's a dream, which means neither ending really matters, it's just the "true" ending is probably called as such because you're meant to see Luxord as the driver. Because that's basically the only significant difference between the two besides Sora not being crystallised. Everything else you're saying though about Sora being in the final world may very well be true, and is sort of another way of saying that it's not the real Shibuya

What if the Yozora boss is actually in Sora’s heart/dreams? The whole scenario seems to be a dream from Yozora’s perspective, he states it’s not the real world. Perhaps Sora is on the way to to Final World, and Yozora intersects to keep him from reaching it, afraid that Sora will go to Shibuya after but won’t survive the trials/Shibuya, and he plans on crystallizing Sora to keep him safe until he can truly save Sora. But because Sora wins he proves that he could survive Shibuya. Yozora probably can control people’s dreams, and purposely made Final World look like night time, before revealing they were in Sora’s heart and then showing him Shibuya.

Good question. I suppose if Sora is really in a dream Shibuya like I think, then Yozora would be there too whenever he sleeps, so since Riku is linked to Sora through his dreams (not sure how.. Is it cos he's a dream eater?) then I guess that's why. Either way, Riku was dreaming when Yozora looked down on him as he walked through a city, so the city must have been a dream place to some degree, yet Yozora was there anyway, implying he has some sort of power related to dreams/sleeping

@@NextGenNovelist I did heard that noctis is based on a character from Greek myth that can travel through other worlds in his dreams. That’s why noctis would wake up in other realities teaming up with lightning,cloud, squall, etc. Maybe yozora has that same ability since he’s based on noctis.

@@Neloangelo205 Damn, if I'd known that I would have included it in this video, but I guess that's more proof of it. That's really interesting that he'd wake up in these other worlds. I guess that's part of how they were all connected in Fabula Nova Crystallis. I also remembered that in Versus XIII Noctis is from a city called Insomnia. They kept the name even for XV, but it's interesting that Yozora is based on a character who is from a city that is literally named after a sleep-related condition, but I suppose it all ties together if Noctis was going to have power with dreams. @@NextGenNovelist You have a good point there. I think the two endings will have a good deal of importance. But right now all we can do is debate the meaning behind the endings. Like perhaps the reason why Yozora put Sora into crystal stasis is because he believes that Sora won’t survive like his “Sora” did. Perhaps the nameless woman (who I do believe is named Sora) suffered a degenerative condition and Yozora wants to put her into stasis in order to slow down the degeneration until a cure can be found. Of course I could be wrong. I know this theory sounds like the backstory the people behind the DCAU created for a rebooted Mr. Freeze but we really don’t know much about the histories of Yozora and “Sora” other than she lost her name and is waiting for Yozora and he, supposedly, isn’t in his original body and is looking for someone with connections to the name Sora.

@@mirandagoldstine8548 The "degenerative condition" you describe could simply be the fact someone took away everything about her, and the crystal could be some way of helping to restore her to her original self, even if it's only to preserve her until she can truly be "saved"

@@NextGenNovelist Exactly. The crystal could be a way to keep her safe until a solution is found. What that solution is in regards to returning her body, we don’t know. I’m hoping we’ll get an explanation as to what caused her to lose both her name and her body. We see the woman in a column of a pinkish light. If that light came from her herself or if it came from another source, I have no clue but perhaps this light played a role in the loss of her body. Perhaps it caused a degradation of her cells, which lead to her death. Of course this is just my speculation because we have very little to go on. Also what could have caused her to lose all memory of her name. Like you said, she didn’t say her name was Sora which suggests that it was torn from her memories.

I think you're mostly on the right track here. My own caveats is that I believe Sora is on the other side of reality for certain. Though he might not be in Quadratum proper. Being locked in a dream on that side, allows for Sora to be in a "Quadratum" and thus both endings are possible. I'll omit using Shibuya since TWEWY's world will likely be such, which I believe is a World on that side of reality as well. In essence Unreality's Sea of Stars could contain it's own mix of worlds. Now, touching on the Nameless Star, something does intrigue me a bit. If her name really is Sora, I've been noticing how she really does look like Destiny Island Sora. The hair colour and gradients, it's uncanny! I'm just curious why that is, instead of being like Stella from Versus XIII. It must mean something at the very least, right down to both meeting and then exchanging where they reside.

It's actually something I was going to say to your comment on my previous theory, because you mentioned about Yozora and Sora being mirrors, and I was going to say how Yozora looks so close to Riku though, that must be intentional for some reason. And the Nameless woman literally looks like a female Sora. So I deffo agree there's something curious about that

@@NextGenNovelist Actually a person on Tumblr actually pointed out the similarities in facial features between the Nameless woman and Sora and I do see them. She looks like she could be related to Sora if she came from Sora’s universe. I wonder why Nomura chose to make the Nameless woman have similar features to Sora. There might be more to the meaning behind it than just simple aesthetic choices.

Well, maybe that's because Verum Rex Yozora is not how he supposed to look like. Thus going by Yozora's words, Nameless Star in Verum Rex is also not what she supposed to look like. We do know they're from a Final Fantasy world, and which Final Fantasy they are. Proof were Toy Box Rex saying "Bahamut" (FF summon) and the car scene in both Remind endings (Versus trailer). So, we can assumed that their original bodies probably looked like Noctis and Stella from Versus. Also, it's pretty uncanny how Riku and Yozora now have the same mission: to save Sora. In MoM, Riku used Nameless Star to travel to Quadratum (we don't know if Riku is in the city or Quadratum's Final World at the end). In Remind BE, Yozora used crystal Sora to travel into KH's Final World. There must be a reason why Yozora and Riku are in the same place inside Riku's dream, while Sora and Nameless Star are "gates" to another world. I do think that Nameless Star name is Sora, but in name only. Though, I am still bothered by Toy Box Rex's words. In Toy Box, Rex insisted that our Sora is "Yozora". This idea was also implied in both Remind endings with overlapping voices. This is my opinion, but maybe there is a "game" in Quadratum, with "Sora" in it (like Verum Rex in KH with Yozora). Thus, "Yozora" and "Sora" are both "fictional" to the worlds where they came from. It could also explained why Nameless Star knew who "Sora" is since Sora didn't introduced himself to her. Yozora just simply didn't know how "Sora" looks like because of his replaced memories, and he was only told to save Sora (someone fictional). Idk. Darn Toy Box Rex lol makes my rants all confusing.
