The only issue was when the pro Hamas guy with his flag was escorted past us with a guard of police.. it was blatantly done to create tension and provoke us. At primary school in England in the 1960's we drew, coloured and cut out three separate crosses on sheets of card which, when placed on atop another formed our Union Flag. Since then I have understood and loved the concept of our union. Prior to the referendum in 2014 I spoke many times in favour of the Union and was told by some that my opinion didn't count because I am English. People UK need to cancel their union subscriptions. Unions are not for the members. They are for the organisations and actively support this abhorrent government . I paid union subs for years as did other people who they failed. When we needed legal support which we paid for, we had none. I was told I had no case. I paid a barrister out of my parents' inheritance and won the case with compensation. I wasn't even allowed to speak to a solicitor by the union. Ditch them and hit them and the government where it hurts.
