Yeah ,never buy an account for any game. Period. Even if you get the account, chances are that person will allow you to play then one day you will find out thr account was "recovered" by the player who sold you it. Full of scammers. Stear clear.

I have been thinking of sitting down and write details but been very busy few weeks. Here’s a bit of summary- I bought account from g2g referred by another happy customer. The site offers eBay style safety but for a month. I played this account for 1+ yr, spent money on it and used it just like a regular account. It was linked to dummy Facebook account that seller transferred to me. I had already tightened security and didn’t see any unauthorised access on this Facebook account. It was also linked to my personal gmail. In hindsight I started getting “logged on another device” messages for few days. One day I woke up to find New Account starting when I launched it. I didn’t have VIP support so pinged in game support who got back to me few days later and said that my account was now on Vietnamese server. All this time I could see hacker play with it, change name etc. The account is supposed to be on international server. It took few days to get support to temporary ban my account so hacker couldn’t use it. After few weeks long process of validating my ownership cause I was not the 1st owner, support got my account back for me, only to loose it in few hours. 2nd attempt to get my account back took few days and involved Lilith creating completely new DB object for my account. Based on some of the information from support chat, it seems my account object was hacked inside Lilith game database. It wasn’t typical Facebook or gmail hack. As usual Lilith didn’t share much details, neither did they take ownership of hardship caused by delays from support. You know the password function to stop gems and gold heads being used? That fking function can be reset with timer of few days which is what hacker did after they knew Lilith was trying to fix it for me. Hello max Charles 😿

I have zero issues with someone buying an account. Let’s be honest - everyone eventually moves on from games because they get busy, they get bored, etc. selling the account to make a little bit of money off your investment is fine. It’s against the rules because Lilith is greedy and want to make as much money off players as possible.

I played for 3 years and a friend of mine decided to quit and offered me his account for 3k. I trusted him and went for it since it was VIP 18, 36 legendary equipment, several crits, and commanders I didn't have. I've had no issues. Lilith doesn't care as long as you don't ask to unbind the account or bother them about it.

Lilith should make a system for character transfer between accounts. I mean, that would be the safest method of changing characters and they should make it legal to do it. They can always develop// add a new premium currency, make xy % cut on them as their own revenue and job done. I hate grinding and farming. My very first experience was extremely painful. Neighbors rallied me, switched alliances multiple times // teleported away, you know, bigger player always got advantage and they do farmed me for a long time. I want to skip all of this by purchasing an account and get involved in fights and territorial games right away...

To be fair on a logical viewpoint there is no issue with account selling/buying, especially for those people that enjoy the most certain parts of the content the game has to offer, such as for example kvk 1 and 2, I can fully understand that some people rather than create a new account to replay those great moments they would rather directly buy an account. The main issue that it has is because it can be banned and there are some scammers out there which is even worse. It just takes too much time to do it, same reason as in MMO's I have seen it happen in the past then the company ends up adding some sort of bundle for new characters to get to max level or near it so that you can play the newest content, it has always been there. I don't blame any whale or big spender that tried to recover a part of the money they invested in when they leave the game. But well, to be fair the best option in this game tends to be to fully leave it, it can be very fun but also tries to consume all your free time when there are many better games to play, even more it isn't rewarding for your time, in fact they try to limit more and more the rewards you can obtain for free and paywall more stuff to make it unplayable. I for example after leaving this game I just went to play conqueror's blade which is MMO style and while it tries to monetize itself, it's just the typical premium pass and little more. It's kinda refreshing you know. The biggest irony of all time is that I would be willing to go back to rise of kingdoms if they ever made a suscription kingdom or something, a kingdom in which there was no pay2win bullshit but that you needed to pay a suscription each month, a kingdom in which your time had true value. It just felt so tiring being the average player and being destroyed by a whale that had tier 4 units by day 3 and just wanted to have fun by literally destroying tiny alliances.

They could implement an in-game store, and take a piece off the top to facilitate fraud-free purchases of accounts, but as you mentioned, they likely view that as something that would take away from their main revenue stream of actual in-game purchases. Although, a strong argument could be made that it would be beneficial for them in the long run if they allowed such 2nd hand sales, so that these accounts could have some semblance of maintaining their value. It would make it that much easier to justify spending thousands of dollars in the game. Being able to safely sell our accounts could potentially create another huge revenue stream for Lilith, like Blizzard originally tried to do with Diablo 3 and their auction house. Without a safe way to sell 2nd hand accounts, it is hard for the average person to justify dropping those large sums of money into the game. However, if as mentioned above, people knew they could sell their accounts down the road, I'm sure the in-game spending would appropriately increase.

But if I knew that the money spent would retain some of its value, and I could eventually sell my account safely, I wouldn't be as hyper wary about my in-game spending. Considering this is a debate of too many hypotheticals, I think we can both just agree to disagree for now haha. Unless... if we can some how convince Lilith to change their TOS on account selling...

What I don't get is how people sell it when its tied to your Google account right? Wouldn't that mean you'd have to give up your gmail? Unless they used a new email for it. 5:20 From a monetary perspective this game can kiss my .... Their monetization strategies are downright barbaric, or as described by my alliance a game with a bottomless pit, even charging noticeably more for the same package / bundle on different platforms. I hope Chinese regulators will put a halt to this soon. A game should be about talent and strategy, not who pays most wins. I generally believe it would be beneficial for both parties( from a financial perspective) to introduce less aggressive pricing strategies, as 99 % of the players probably stop playing the game because of it. At a certain point / power level it just gets ridiculous.

you missed the fact that reputable middle mans exist. A ton. Like a ton of trusted middle men exist on Facebook with tons of legit reviews with tons of sold accounts and they have a very strong reputation. Buying accounts through these people decrease scams so much its almost zero.

Maybe Lilith should accept that this is a thing. Then, Lilith themselves could be the middleman of the sale. That way, the buyer gets to see the real account before deciding whether to buy; they could enter a bid; if the price is accepted, money would be sent via Lilith, who would take their cut, and therefore there would not be any chance of the transfer being 'canelled' by some scammer. Sure, when it comes to profits, Lilith want to have 'more of plenty', but right now, they are losing money hand over fist because they are not taking their cut of the sales.

I purchased my account as a ROI gamble. I could have spent and worked it up myself but was too lazy. I bought a Korean account about a year ago for 3250 dollars. It was stacked with commanders and equipment and would have cost multiples more to make myself. After I bought it the game wouldn’t let me make purchases, so I talked to the vip support the account came with and they fixed that and let me start spending again 😂. I also have 2 people in my alliance, one from Korea and one from Europe that pilot the account during times I can’t play (I’m in Canada). I honestly don’t think lilth cares about account buying or sharing, but I do agree the chance of being scammed is always there.

I'm a former whale and quit playing back in 2021. So many people came to me and asked to buy or just have my account. I considered it but already knew the horror stories from others who tried to buy or sell. I decided that while it'd be nice to try and recoup some of the $40,000 or so I spent that I might 1 day want to come back. I actually returned a few days ago and ran into some of my old friends. We moved to a younger kd and are having fun as the old farts. None of us are spenders anymore, except maybe $5 - 10 a month. We are having fun though. Tldr: keep your account and maybe have some fun in the future.
