But i was generally commenting on how aggressive he was just by watching him on tv before any of this happened. i'm so glad you were able to gain enough courage to leave him, i remember watching love island and supporting you through out the whole series since i liked your strong personality and the way you would stick up for yourself and your friends. It was really sad to watch each episode and to see the way Eden manipulated you into believing things and forgiving him, the way he acted was very similar to the way a high school bully would act, a lot of anger issues and having to feel the need to seem bigger than somebody else, pretty immature if you ask me. All the things he did were definitely warning signs, no "man" should ever feel the need to force a woman or try to intimidate a woman. I'm honestly so relieved you were able to leave before anything got worse, I will continue to support you Erin and I hope you will find someone better in the future :)

Us Americans are just getting around to having watched L.I. Season 1 as it was just released on HULU in the U.S. Let me just say that I could see that this show initially brought out the best in Eden as he couldn't drink too much and had to behave because of being monitored 24/7. I'm guessing he was the best version of himself he has ever been and even though he played the alphamale of the Villa for the most part, he seemed measured and well-tempered. I will say that when he had the near fight with Grant later in the series, I really saw the bullying and true nature start to come out in Eden and I actually felt really bad for Grant as he is the one that walked away so it didn't escalate whilst Eden was taunting him with the group and pilling on. I thought to myself, "Oh man," this guy is not a nice man and is definitely hiding and holding back shit. Let me say this too. Erin you are adorable and he was smart to couple up with you and clearly you saw the really good side of him as everyone else did. But in any relationship, it takes a little while for the cracks to appear. So sorry that Eden wasn't able to allow that experience to change him for the better having such a sweet and beautiful partner by his side. As others have noted, clearly he has a serious drinking problem which only exacerbates his anger issues. Best of luck to you Erin.

I’m from England and still watched love island Australia. I could tell that Eden was a very angry person when him and grant had that fight on the show. Btw I think you handled that out very well. It brought tears to my eyes when you told the TRUTH and I know you Erin wouldn’t lie because from watching love island you say the truth and what you want. Not in a rude way though.
