I’m actually glad that they didn’t push tons of alcohol 🍷 and it got messy in a bad way! They might have taken it too far but it’s better than shows like early The Real World & Top Model and some others showed and encouraged excessive intake and it went from drama to trauma QUICK! I don’t understand why everyone is commenting on the fact that the islanders weren’t allowed to know the time! When I’m on holidays I never check the time! I just do what I want when I feel like it (eg eat, sleep) if they knew the time they would be watching the clock for lunch, dinner etc to come around. so it’s actually better they didn’t have the times
