I don't like these things about high diff, low diff or complex-multi, and so on, since it's something created by fans, now within the manga we have Goku vs Bills shaking the universe, and Saitama vs Garou opening a hole until 2,500 parsec or 7,500 thousand light years away at least, since this is the maximum distance that a human being can see a star, and don't give me the argument of "saitama moved a portal with his hand" or "gogeta and broly shattered the space-time" because this is something unquantifiable, the speed of light distorts space-time and it cannot escape a black hole that also distorts space-time, and that doesn't mean the black hole can destroy universes, goku needed the blue to resist the gravitational pull of a black hole, normal Saitama does this without even realizing it, Saitama ends up beating Goku because of Goku's own character, of always wanting to test the reach of his opponents, and this cost him victory against broly, the same thing would happen in a hypothetical fight with Saitama.

I appreciate the fact that you are looking at this from a logical perspective. Though there is a bit I would say you fell off a bit on at the end. Even if we stopped the Dragon Ball scaling at Goku threatening the universe (without even including the fact that its a macrocosm), the magnitude of difference between Goku and Saitama is so astronomically massive, that even if Goku did hold back and let the fight last for an extended period, we have seen nothing from Saitama to indicate that he would be capable of catching up to Goku's level of power. And that is before we include either the fact that Saitama's fast growth is completely situational and temporary, as well as we aren't taking Goku's own growth into consideration.

Andromeda Galaxy can be seen from Earth, Saitama and Garou opened a hole up to that distance at least(833,325 parsec/2,500,000 light years), an energy capable of destroying multiple galaxies(20.06 Zettafoe). Normal Saitama speed is higher than flash (speed of light). Expectation: Frieza's second form (universal destroyer) Perfect cell (universal destroyer) Kid buu (universal destroyer) Goku God vs Beerus (macrocosm destroyer) Reality: First form and final form of Frieza (planet destroyer) Cell (planet destroyer, he says he can destroy the solar system, but it's a fallacy as long as he doesn't do what he says) kid buu in the manga without fillers (planet buster) And in episode 70 of dbs Goku says "do somebody tells me once that a destroyer starts fighting each other they can rip apart a whole universe" The destruction of the macrocosm is due to a hakaishin getting involved in a fight, and Whis and Vados explain this in episode 28, Goku and Vegeta heard them. I can't see Saitama losing to Goku.

In original Dragon Ball, we watch Goku consistently dodge lasers, and very shortly after, we watch him literally blitz light. So we know that character's combat speed is already significantly faster than light that early on (combat speed and travel speed are not the same. Travel speed can be used to get an indicator of combat speed, but combat speed is not an indicator for travel speed.). I don't think I need to go into the details of the power scaling throughout the series, to explain how massively even a high balled Saitama is outclassed speed wise here (though, based on your post, maybe I do.). As far as the serious punch squared, the issue with that feat is, the manga blatantly shows us what galaxies look like in the night sky, in various other panels. The reason that is an issue, is because there is not a single visible galaxy in that panel. So, unless we are assuming that it just so happens that all of the galaxies in that panel, just so happen to be in the destroyed area, there is nothing to indicate that there are any destroyed galaxies at all. As for your "reality" scaling, you already started out wrong. Not only is first form Fireza capable of destroying planet Vegeta with one finger (a dwarf to small star level feat.), but we literally watch King Vegeta (who is significantly less powerful than Vegeta when he first shows up in the series.), destroy multiple planets with a wave of his hand. For Cell, you could make the argument that its only statement that puts him at solar system level. However, when you scale up from Frieza's small star level casual first form, its really not that big of a stretch to say that its literal. Finally for Buu. Again, you could say that its just hyperbole for all the statements that put him at universal (which there are a fair number of them.), with one exception. The outside space technique he uses against Vegeto. Now, I know there are 3 arguments to be made against it. First is that its anime only, and second is that we don't actually see universal levels of destruction, and third is that it was Buu with Gohan absorbed that did it. However, the first two points are addressed in Diazenshuu (which is the canon guidebook for Dragon Ball.), and the third I will address in a second. Diazenshuu both brings up that technique (which tells us that its within Buu's power to do.), and also confirms that the universe would have indeed been destroyed had Vegeto not intervened. And that was just Buu releasing his ki uncontrolled. As for the Gohan absorbed aspect, yes he was more powerful in that state. However, Buu with Gohan absorbed is only about 3x more powerful than Super Buu (I can explain the reasoning for that if you would like.), and Kid Buu canonically grew in power from Super Buu (the manga straight up points out that Goku and Vegeta were confused why Buu's power was increasing instead of decreasing when the removed fat Buu.). So this means that, even if Gohan absorbed Buu was only just barely at universal power (which is ridiculous, since he nearly destroyed the universe on accident, with just uncontrolled ki release), then Kid Buu is still somewhere above 1/3 universe busting. For your last point about the destruction of the macrocosm only being due to the gods of destruction getting involved. It doesn't matter. Whether a god of destruction was involved or not, the fact still remains that the absolute minimum you can argue (and this is lowballing to the absolute extreme.), is that Goku was contributing half of the force that was threatening the macrocosm. Its literally impossible to argue any lower than that, because of the fact that Goku's punches don't crumble against Beerus' punches. The fact is, you have to stretch to make any sort of argument that Saitama even starts standing a chance. But realistically, even the human fighters in Dragon Ball could solo the OPM universe without breaking a sweat.

@@ikeillue8385 If you take into account the filler scene of King Vegeta destroying three planets, you also have to take into account Yamcha not being able to withstand a weight of 300g, and normal Saitama being able to withstand the gravitational pull of a black hole, which is a weight of 750,000.000g, so I think it's a lot to say that Yamcha and Krillin beat Saitama, Super Buu Gohan's feat is not destructive power, but a technique, the same one he and Gotenks used to escape the time room, it wasn't raw power.

I don't know if you are aware, but the power scaling in Super is absolutely nuts, especially for the side characters. IE, Krillin is easily multi universal on an extreme low ball, due to the scaling in Super (which is WAY more than enough to casually handle Saitama). What are you talking about that its not destructive power? It is literally destructive power in its most base form. Both instances are him being in such a rage, that he is just outputting ki with no rhyme or reason. In neither instance was he even aware that he was accomplishing the feat that was being accomplished, until after the fact.

I really loved your take on the battle. It was very cool, and it taught me a lot about goku. However, your take on saitama's power I believe is that his power grows exponentially faster and faster over time, but goku's already so far ahead that goku would easily beat him if they met now. Another take that many one-punch man fans have including myself is that saitama's power grows to how much he needs to defeat his opponents which is why he is always able to one-punch his opponents. The reason he didn't kill garou in one punch is because it was Tareo's final request to stop him without killing him.

Also, he is shown getting stronger and stronger, that means that he needs to improve to keep up, so he's not all powerful. The point with Saitama is that he’s literally fated to plot, the hole gag being no matter how strong his opponent he’ll just win in supposedly one punch. Goku would literally be the perfect victim. The funny thing that people don't realize is that EVERYONE in the DB Universe DON'T have limits. As long as Ki exists, which is HIGHLY tied to the essence and physics of the Dragon Ball Universe, no one has limits. Jiren is a fucking nobody that just trained hard enough to the point where he has GoD levels of strength, just because he is so efficient at using ki which was further iterated by Vegeta in the manga and in the DBS:Super Hero Movie. Ki is everything in Dragonball, it's literally the most dynamic shit ever. As long as you've mastered manipulating ki into all of it's properties, food, clothes, even the hardest compound in the whole multiverse. The races in Dragonball are just a lucky roll into stats that allow for you to be able to use ki easier, such as saiyans being able to use ki naturally.

Well said. A small point to add onto this is, ki is also the in universe explanation for the "antifeats" we see throughout Dragon Ball. Most series don't give explanations for antifeats. IE, in OPM, one minute Saitama and Garou's clash takes out thousands of stars, then the next they are more powerful and trading blows without so much as creating a crater on the moon they are fighting on. However, Dragon Ball's ki control and manipulation literally explains all of that sort of thing. And its not even just a fan theory either. We literally watch what happens when DB characters don't enhance their own bodies with Ki (Goku gets hurt by a common bullet, which Whis directly explains to be a result of not using ki enhancement.), and we literally watch what happens when they don't control the energy they are outputting with ki (the beerus fight literally shows Goku accidentally over shoot Beerus when he tries to rush him, because he isn't used to the level of power he has. This then further culminates into the macrocosm threatening shockwaves that Goku is accidentally releasing, before he gains control of his new power.).
