I had a weird theory a few years back that Kaguya was sealed inside the mass that became the moon, so maybe Shiba was sealed inside the mass that became the earth. To sort of power scale their respective sealing masses. But having Shiba’s body at the center of the planet allows it to act as a battery but also is super hard to get to.

I love that this is a thing because I've been theorizing since back when we heard the legend that "Divine trees grow in places of great battle and bloodshed" was wrong, how that could be a thing instead of just a legend. That and when they first implied the roots go throughout the world I thought 'well they don't just vanish leaving tunnels all through earth that'd wreck the planet' (which could be true or not in fiction but it was part of the train of thought). Which involved just that, the roots being left over through the planet and responding to absorbing the chakra and bio matter left behind until maybe sometime in history, even once, a divine tree started to grow - I think even the Ashura filler then hinted something about the leftover roots? Which could provide the possibility of a lesser chakra fruit in history or just a failed tree that started the legend. Either case resulting in just this, that the roots were leftover all over the world. Which I've even based entire fan plots on. So for them to actually confirm it and likely have it become a plot point is so cool to me.

That line of roots did make me question stuff But as this is an anime world and I just read for the experience I just went “oh, guess there are tree roots underground then” I didn’t think into it But this actually makes sense as to why wood release is so powerful And I think it’s being studied about that trees have a communication network through their roots So all the trees in the world would also be keyed into this massive root system And finally we would get a proper explanation for why the village hidden in the leaves is in the land of FIRE

I was thinking, what if Moegi having some form of wood release is the reason the shinju exist now? Sasuke was bitten 2 years before the start of 2BV, and Bug was probably bitten before that, but the Shinju only appeared after the attack on Konoha, aka, after Moegi was bitten. Considering that the Moegi shinju is the one creating new shinju and the shinju only started appearing after Moegi was bitten, I think she was the first shinju to be born, probably because of her wood realese that connected her to the roots of the divine tree on the planet.

They didn't really not cover how Humanity continued on. The Infinite Tsukiyomi caster can control who the tree takes in or not. The fact that all of humanity wasn't taken in originally just meant Kaguya genjutsu-ed the entire populace but didn't absorb them all into the tree. The same filler demonstrates this by people every so often being 'sacrificed' by being sent to the tree to get taken in. The implication was definitely that she only captured some of humanity despite Genjutsu-ing the world, before they went maybe a bit overboard stating later in the filler that she did it to everyone and just let most of the world out but then still started to flood people back in.

Slight correction, even before kaguya came to earth humanity had chakra because all living things have chakra. Humanity just wasnt aware of what chakra is and did not know how to use chakra before kaguya's arrival. Hogoromo taught them how use chakra and he shared his chakra with humanity but that only increased humanities chakra it doesnt mean they didn’t have it before

No, that's not the case. Shibai only got the Jogan after ascension, as seen in the NNG manga when Isshiki is passing his will on to Code and telling him what to do. "Then go on, devouring planet after planet, consuming chakra fruit after chakra fruit until you become a peerless existence... A God." At this point, it shows what looks like a panel of Shibai after ascension, with a wall of Jogan behind him. Shibai, before ascension, had a Kokugan, Rinnegan, and either a Byakugan or Senrigan. It would most likely be a Byakugan because the Byakugan and Kokugan are opposites.

I kind of put the puzzle together on how Jura, was created. Basically Code didn’t just use claw marks to make the Shinju he also had to have used some of his actual DNA 🧬 to make them sentient and conscious. Here’s why I think code also used his blood. Because we see Jura literally floating in mid are and he tells Boruto some things that are very important. Jura specifically says to Boruto, that he possesses the chakra of those whom previously lived. That means he Possesses the chakra of people and Ōtsutuki’s from the past present and future. It’s sounds crazy. However Jura does say this to Boruto. I think through the claw marks and with DNA 🧬 allowed Jura aka the Tentails. To split actually. I don’t think that Hura is the physical Tentails himself I know that’s what we’ve seen and it seems like that however I think that the Tentails gained consciousness. And split itself into five different Shinjus. 🤔

what if it was an Attack On Titan scenario? The clawgrimes are just randomly biting people hoping to find the vessel or special person(s) for Shibai? Maybe Shibai wants an earthly vessel to do something, so he created the best environment for the first shinju to be born (black box involved in some way). That shinju is able to create more, but doesn't know the plan. Those shinju lead to clawgrimes, those bite people and become failed divine trees. If they bite the right person, maybe the shinju created doesn't become a shinju of the person bit, but of Shibai. Maybe the best vessel is someone with insane life force to contain Shibai....like an Uzamaki. They have very strong life force, and have historically been used to house the nine tails. Maybe that's why they were looking for the nine tails, and not exactly sure why they were doing that. I don't know, just a theory I made on the spot while watching the video. Have a good one.

I think the mystery goes a bit deeper than just Shibai. There is still his partner that we know nothing about. If Shibai used his partner to create a fruit to ascend, why would there still be a fruit left to be found on earth? Could Shibai have fallen in love with humans and decided to become their protector in a way? If he could see all possible futures, could he have used omnipotence to manipulate everything that has ever happened to make sure that humanity prevails in the end? Could he have faked his transcendence by dying and leaving the chakra fruit behind knowing his chakra would be consumed instead of the earth itself?

The real concern is Shibai's partner who is entirely unaccounted for. We know the pair that arrived to Earth after was Kaguya and Isshiki, Shibai ascended to Godhood, but that means he left a partner behind, there is still at least one Otsutsuki who needs to be dealt with with some level of immediacy. Unless Urashiki was his partner but that's boring.
