You’re pretty correct. The thing is that nowadays every student who clears NEET and ends up in a govt MBBS college ends up opening their YT channel, which starts with tips and information about what and how of the exam but then either transitions into your typical selling hope to students type motivator or a lifestyle vlogger, and this has almost become the norm. There are very few creators who keep things under control and don’t shift the content just for views and revenue. But students who are watching are now so used to seeing all the details of the lives of these creators that the boundary between real life and on screen life has blurred, the classic case of parasocial relationships. They think that just because they’ve watched your videos, they know you personally and have full right to comment on your life and decisions. It’s funny and ironical that these same kids then end up saying that society is nosey while they’re nothing better lol.

I'm a doctor, 25, studying for NEET-PG. Even my parents understand it when i say I'm not ready for marrying .. I simply believe you must be ready for it mentally. But society, the parents of other friends, and every other person who doesnt even know my birthday, nor calls to congratulate me for an achievement - they're more bothered about my marriage than me. Can never keep their nose in their own business ! Medical profession takes years to settle and not everyine can get married and live off their parents' money... Hey Aakriti, I'm kind of in a similar boat as you, but in reverse. I did medicine from '08 to '13, and now I'm fully into engineering and tech work, though I'm not trying to get a degree. Essentially, I'm kind of doing similarish learning (pursuing from scratch). I totally, totally get how you feel. Your journey is actually very inspiring and makes people like me feel more confident and secure, knowing that there are a good number of people out there who are following their hearts, resisting the peer pressure and FOMO that society in general tries to rub on people's faces. On a positive note, more and more people are actually trying to break these stereotypical barriers and are following their passions. I guess people who initiate change will always have these kinds of frictions. All that matters is whether you are having fun and are happy. Cheers to your work and the journey.😁

From my perspective I tell you this, mbbs is a fact based subject... In mbbs you're meant to have good memory to sustain, some of us are bound to go into mbbs because of society, family, got no better option other than mbbs, settlement.. Etc. All I'm trying to say is there are other field which require critical thinking, problem solving other than just remembering vast . I guess you can be that person who's good in other fields like research, teaching or other skills who can give a try to that. Just my personal opinion

Shaadi nahi krogi toh baad mai jaake pachtaogi. Lekin tab koi nhi krega shaadi! 30-35 is late but you still can and should marry. Don't waste your remaining youthful years. I think a part of your audience may ask this from a curiosity point of view. As in, you’re doing something great, you decided to pursue your dream and didnt let age be a factor This isnt common especially in our country. And a lot of people remain stuck in their current life because of a wrong choice they took long back. So now you choose this life. And you’re documenting your life and showing jnto the public saying “hey you can do it too” breaking the myths and providing new perspectives, people will ask questions of their different fears For women in India it is expected to be financially stable and get married around the age of 29-30 to the least, Most people dont change their current path because of this. So when we see someone breaking the cycle we want to know how you face the other struggles or your point of view on this topic cos you manage to give good perspective into other matters too, if that makes sense? Im not saying everyone has a good intention in asking these questions, but at least one maybe asking out of genuine curiosity, seeing you as an inspiration :)
