I saw these rockers in Sachsenhausen, a small town near Frankfurt, Germany, in 1981. We came after the opening act had started - and, as I remember, it was one person, wrapped from head to toe with whatever which obscured his features. To this day, I have no idea who it was, but he rocked hard, playing everything, all the instrumentation. Then waitresses dressed as you would imagine a German waitress would be dressed-with shorter skirts, lower cleavage-came out carrying large mugs of beer, lining them up along the front of the stage and invited all American service members to come and stand and drink and enjoy one of the best shows that I have ever seen in my life. Don't remember how I got back to Gelnhausen where I lived.

Terry, Juke's, Fred, I want to thank you for answering something that I've asked just about everyone I could about who it was that I saw that night. It had gotten to the point where my friends started to even doubt the story. I've actually never even heard of this guy, and I was pretty much up on music. Obviously not, huh? And also, another strange thing, about the same time that he saw Bunel and Dali's Un Chien Anjous, my friends and I would go to an old Mexican theater where, at midnight on Saturday, hippies and heads would attend the New American Cinema's weekly showing of movie serials, college art films, and classics, and that's where I first saw that film, same year. Anyway, thanks again, I'll check Nash out a little more; all I can say is that I was entertained. It was just as surreal as that movie, damn near. Muchas gracias.

Always loved "Talk To Ya Later" and "She's a Beauty". My favs. They also did "What Do You Want From Life","Mr. Hate", and "White Punks on Dope". Their cover of The Beatles "I Saw Her Standing There" was not so hot. Oddly the Birmingham (home of Black Sabbath) crowd just offered polite applause after each song. I was always impressed by their musicianship and punch to their sound. Clearly this UK audience was waiting for The Hollywood Vampires. But when you're an opening act you can expect it once in awhile. I'm happy to see they are still performing and look good doing it!
