Scandoval aside, Raquel has the vibe of someone who has suffered a lot of emotional abuse and bullying, probably her whole life. Lala has bullied her for years--well the whole cast has made fun of her intelligence/lack there of---it's so demeaning to mock someone's intelligence. She clearly has self worth issues and poor boundaries. Plus, the amount of abuse she put up with by James was appalling, and very telling; it was hard to watch. I have sympathy for her in that respect. It's easy to point fingers and project whatever we think is going on with someone. I just see someone who's broken and has been for along time. Her immaturity, impulsivity , detachment, tendency to be easily lead/influenced is something I have seen in people suffering from severe emotional abuse ( think cult members)..these seem like coping mechanisms to me? She will keep making bad choices, self-sabotage until she heals her trauma and deep rooted issues. I wish her well in her healing journey.

Forget about life partner, I can't stand him as a partner in any project or assignment in school or uni. I would prefer working alone than doing anything with him. Raquel has issues.
