The Turnitin AI Detector is Dead. StealthWriter (Free) Test

This video puts the free version of StealthWriter, a tool that claims to bypass the TurnItIn AI detector and promoted to students online, to the test using ChatGPT (free) output.
This video is accurate for the most recent (July 2024) update to the Turnitin AI detector.

Thanks, for this amazing video!! It truly helped me but I have a question... when I used StealthWriter and I put the outcome into GPTZero, it gave me 85% Ai generated, so I am just wondering is GPTZero not accurate?

I want this channel to be a useful resource to students and educators and you can request anything that you'd like to see. I haven't tested StealthWriter against the new and improved Turnitin AI Detector yet (introduced July 2024). It's possible that GPTZero is less accurate than Turnitin. It doesn't perform that well in the article linked below. I'm working on a large project at the moment comparing and contrasting AI detectors against text that uses various evasion techniques. ​@@gurveenbhamra8708 Just ran the same ChatGPT written essay that was humanised using StealthWriter through the new Turnitin AI detector and the result is the same as in the video. The video is still accurate and no need to make a new one. 0% of the text flagged as likely AI written, though the StealthWriter version is poor with 'errors' and odd writing.
