Hey Northman! Five years in, and I'm still hooked! Life decided to pillage my peace with a panic disorder, making everyday outings feel like a Viking raid. But your videos have been my trusty battle-axe, urging me to face my fears and send me forth into the fray! Your lone adventures inspire me to get out and become the man I once was. You're the best out there. ⚔️🔥

Yeah :-) I will also try to make fresh pasta when I bought flour. Thank you for releasing this video for the non-members! Thank you for appreciating and embracing European culture. Everything gongolicious Harald! I appreciate the history, the wine and the architecture. It was also common for an English nobleman to build a tower somewhere on his land - partly for decorative purposes, but mainly just to show off. Known as a 'folly', they were the vanity project of their day. Nowadays, Musk and Bezos can build towers that fly into space. Same vanity, different budget.

I wish you showed more of the Greek girl (I’m Greek too, 😅). Lakedaimonians is the name used for Spartans by Homer, Herodotus or Thucydides. Laconia was the name of the region around Sparta and is the origin of the word laconic. In modern Greece it is the name of the province where modern Sparta is the capital. In Laconia there is a smaller region called “Mani” where I think you could shoot great content. Generally, you should come back to Greece for more content. Not only in Rhodes, or Athens and definitively not in Mykonos. We are like Italy, only cheaper and with a greater span of history covered.
@alessandrom71814 күн бұрын
A greater span of history covered Greece than Italy? ? 😂 Lol Bruh, you vanished from history 2500 years ago, meanwhile Italy had Rome and Renaissance, scientists, discoveries, Leonardo da Vinci, Galilei, Volta, Michelangel, Machiavelli the first university in the world. I can't see the greater span of history of Greece honestly. Also Greece Is like South Italy at most and this Is Tuscany, Central/ North Italy.

Weren't they also mentioned by apostle St. Paul? Like being lazy? 😂
@HaraldBaldr4 күн бұрын
@@alessandrom7181 "Bruh, you vanished from history 2500 years ago" - Not so fast. Byzantium, although known as the Eastern Roman Empire was Greek in all but name. The language was Greek. The people were Greek (yes I know they called themselves Roman) but they lived where ancient Helenes lived and where modern Greece is today whilst speaking Greek and preserving the ancient heritage of their Hellenic ancestors. To say Greeks disappeared and didn't do anything is clearly wrong.
@alessandrom71814 күн бұрын
@@HaraldBaldrthey weren't just Greeks, there were Greeks, Armenians, Turks all larping as Romans in Constantinople.. calling Byzantium as somehing that belongs to Hellenes' heritage ( Greeks as i said was a name invented by Romans) Is either wrong on a historical and anthroological basis.
@HaraldBaldr4 күн бұрын
Why are you hung up on the word Greek? Yes the Romans called them Graeci but they (these Greeks) called themselves Hellenes like they do today. If Hellas was a thing 2500 years ago Hellas is a thing today. An no, Turks were not around in the region when the Eastern Romans switched from Latin to Greek as the language of government. Anatolians (Lydians etc.) are not Turks
