I absolutely loved this man when I was a wee girl. I would rush home to watch. I sent in letters and pictures. It was like having a fun uncle come over. He was my first real introduction to te reo, beyond a song about a rabbit! He made it completely normal to speak te reo in conversation. He positively influenced an entire generation of children.

Absolutely loved this guy. You’re the best Ollie. We had part time Māori at school by an amazing teacher (Aunty B) then rushed home to watch after school. Didn’t even think for a second that there were two languages going on. It was normal. Thanks for enlightening my childhood Ollie. You’re a good man.

I remember the tv show bumble, where Jason Gunn voiced the title character and i believe Olly Ohlsen voiced the fish character

Funny how TVNZ leaves comments open for this fluff story, but too afraid to leave comments open for anything that really matters.

Thank you for bringing this long standing issue to light cbc... We understand there's a driver shortage and they can't hire enough each year... So they need to use more double length buses! And for customer service CMBC needs drivers to care more about their passengers. It's not drivers vs. them.

yes but back when it wasn't forced or used as a political tool. And here it was completely natural and got kids interested.

Always been natural, just fragile racist colonisers can't stop the revitalization of te reo like they tried to in the past, cant stop change get over it snowflake
