Great video💜. I tried to read Life and death around a month ago after I reread Twilight (I had borrowed the 10th anniversary edition from the library) and I couldn't get past the second chapter because it was almost word by word the same and I couldn't read the same story again (I've also read Midnight sun as well). It's interesting to know that Beau was turned into a vampire though.

Overall you're right of course. There's still distinctive hormonal differences for the majority of people of one specific gender. A trans female friend of mine used to never cry bc she didn't have the urge to, she used to get aggressive more easily instead. Now that she's on HRT that completely flipped. I don't mean to say "boys don't cry" or shouldn't at all, Stephanie just very clearly went with typical gender representations (not necessarily gender roles). As a female who is into weight lifting: I think Steph - like many - just doesn't know anything about it. It's very common for top athletes of all genders to supplement their sports with weight lifting. And for the most part, you don't notice strong women at all unless they flex. I have a "sleeper build" too. It's just the hormonal differences. Many female lifters/influencers do look like volleyball stars lol. Still, I would have loved for female "Emmet" to look like MegSquats (natural) or Dana Lynn Bailey (98% not natty despite the claims). Overall, it was an okay book. I was bored too. Would have loved to get a book on Leah though. Imagine all her struggles in her life, even before becoming a wolf, then being the only female hearing thoughts of all of the male teenagers around her, including her brother. Her issues with wanting to protect Seth, being infertile, hearing her ex's love for another woman etc. THAT would have been an amazing book imo. Anyway, thanks for your video. It was really well done :)

The double take I just made when I realised this had 500 views. Wow- This is so goddamn well-made for a smaller youtuber, bro I was expecting to see a 100k down there. Great analysis, I had no idea this book existed lol

I read Life and Death soon after it came out, and I think I enjoyed it more than Twilight, but that might just be because I find female vampires cooler and more attractive than male vampires, so I prefered Edythe to Edward.

yeah i totally agree, edythe was 100% better than edward
