I really like the Scotish "accen"t, they dont say 'free" but "frrrrrrrreeee", it's just wonderful, a gaellic language legacy ! We have the same case in France, different regions with different "accents" ! If you go to the ouest, in Bretagne, they speak a old gaelic/celtic language, you go to the South, in "occitan" they speak there own language (langue d'Oc), same in Basque country ( it's "euskara") , go to the east and it's a mix between french and german, i love my country for all these different cultures ! Geat band btw, love'em !

​@@DomHowardsFluoPants Agree with you, if you read my message i speak about gaellic language legacy and after i speak about accent in France, cause France is not a country but a mix betxeen different tribes who spoke different languages, and now we are all french but this "accent" or heritage or legacy of old languages stay ! Grettings from France my celtic cousin !

GWAH?! This was a HELL of a pleasant surprise! My favorite band on KEXP, where the live performances are basically always great! Well, I was about to go to bed, but I guess I won't be for aother twenty minutes or so! (P.S. Though they're my favorite *band,* they're tied for my favorite musical *artist* with Sam Beam/Iron & Wine; who's also made me squeal being on KEXP. What a joy!)

God, such a pity they didn't do the chanting bit with more than just James. That's fantastic on the record version. And some of that Ebowed guitar... was a bit much in this performance. God those things can be a pain to control and get the levels right on. I have to compress and noise gate the hell out of myself when using one. But still fantastic.
