These lads definitely require a certain "ear" to appreciate them. Been digging them a long while. Wife has an aversion to the Scot accent. Ugh. "Oh, is this that Scot band TTS or GV or TCS?" You see her in my profile pic. Yeqh. She looks like an islander. Oh, well, more Scot goodies for me😁

I love how his accent bleeds through into his vocals. -VTr -[10 good reasons for modern drugs] -there's a girl in the corner -I/m not here (missing face) No comparison, but they kind of remind me of the first 2 albums of 'Editors'

I still believe their first album was the best though. I love all their other works, but the magic of their debut album is beyond everything else I have heard. it's my fav album of all time.
@nathanhammond667 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, some of their former material was a little more consistently cohesive than this lp, as a whole. This is a great album, without a doubt. Some tracks just lack a sense of growth, or even equality, when compared to some of the formative releases. "No One Can Ever Know," as I opine, is their most complete release. I have been here a while longer than NOCEK. Not since day 1, but quite early on. Never heard a track by them that I didn't like, regardless. I suppose I will "Kill It in the Morning" for my comments... so be it. They are ridiculously good!

VTr And I've been waiting for you, There's nothing that I'd rather do, You stop me from falling in the ground, Please don't leave me alone, I won't cope on my own. I dunno who to trust, Don't let me do my worst, I don't know who to trust, Running away doesn't feel so bad, No running away doesn't feel so bad. There's a monster inside of you, Someone that you never knew, Someone that we didn't choose, He won't leave us alone, Please don't leave me alone. I dunno who to trust, Don't let me do my worst, I don't know who to trust. There's no love too small, There's no love too small. Will you take my love instead?, And help me rest my head, And I'll forget everything they said, And if you take my love instead. There's no love too small, There's no love too small. And I won't be surprised if it kills us all, And I won't be surprised if it kills us all. There's no love too small, And I won't be surprised if it kills us all.
