@@Mango0870 ya, only the pilot and radio version said “6th”, which doesn’t really make sense. They also say “sunlight” instead of “summit”. There are 3 dimensions in physical space, like a cube: up/down, left/right, and inward/outward. Then, Einstein and others argue that time is the 4th dimension. So, 5th dimension makes sense if you were trying to say there’s a new one, more than science and man currently knows. Why jump to 6th?

The show is also all about imagination. An excerpt taken from an interview with Rod Serling in Australia: "The Twilight Zone is in essence an imaginative itinerary of storytelling in which we utilize bases of fantasy, science fiction, Neo-Cult, extrasensory perception, anything that is imaginative, wild, or, as in the States we call it, kooky. In normal earthbound drama, if a man is on top of a building, & it's burning, of necessity, he has to crawl down either a ladder, or go through a skylight, or is rescued by a helicopter. In the Twilight Zone, he grows wings, & he flies off."

@@elwoodjacobs4353 "Kooky" a great word lost to time! Could be used to describe much today!! In Serling's example, perhaps a falling man could live a life of 100 years, in a separate reality of time, whilst falling a few seconds to his death!

About the 80's version... I get your point. Maybe it shouldn't be so "horror-like", because the point of Twilight is to be a middle ground, a "weird, but fascinating" style. @@BlackSpineHorrorcrappy Bands? You better put some respect on Korn name. That band is over 30 years old and still kicks all the new kids ass

@@CYB3R2K I don't care how old they are; doesn't change the fact that they are shit. 30 years, or 300 years won't change that.

I have never in my life seen the one with the real eyeball. The original season 1 opening, however, is still aired on Syfy.

Came back here after the new show premiered and they nailed it so hard! The opening uses a combination of the narration from the first and second seasons, with a new arrangement of the classic season 2-5 theme, with mysterious otherworldly visuals inspired by the original series, plus the classic logo! AND they even used the original credits music from seasons 2+ at the end! Somebody finally paid due respect to this show!

I immediately recognized the voice in the opening to the movie version. It's Burgess Meredith. You may know him as "The Obsolete Man."

Although I wasn't a fan of the darker 80's version, I always loved that hazy image of Serling that appears at 4:15+

Thanks for the upload... I love Rod, but the 80s version is always my favorite... Grateful Dead... flash of RS... so cool. And the 2002 version by Korn isnt bad, just different. And I like it as I know we have TZ coming up... cant wait to see what Jordan Peele has in store in 2019.

S2, 1960-61 will always be the best to me. That’s the one I grew up quoting. But that original Serling... whew.

1985-1989 reboot was the one I remember the most. The one with no words, just Twilight Zone at the end. Although 1963-1964 I remember well too. Both are the best in my book.
