Uh - it didn't use the same exact recording, but they re-did the melody in a similar way out of nostalgia - that much is true. Also on a livestream for 'Best Bits' they said _The Family of Blood_ was from Series 7 getting confused with 2007.

It's not showing when the title sequence first appeared though. It's stating the episode they took it from.

My favourites are TV Movie (1996), Tennant (14th Doctor - 2023), Ncuti Gatwa (2023), Sylvester McCoy (1987) and Baker (1986).

Wish they had kept the end bit of the latest intro for this video, instead of cutting out early. Music's not done and the title wasn't shown yet, why the rush now after not doing that for all the other intros?
@the_bob_1473 ай бұрын
9:32 why is no one talking about Capaldi's intro? It sounds pretty damn good but the visuals are some of the best. His eyes appearing as part of the stars is the coolest way of showing the doctor's face so far.

I mean he looked into the time vortex when he started hearing it, I know that was sent by the time lords to escape the time lock, but... maybe time just sounds like that?

I now most people don’t like it. But honestly, my favorite intro is the series 7b one. I think it’s a nice mix of the modern more action oriented intros with the more psychedelic imagery of the older intros. Also the music is a bop.

I think the ecclston theme, used by tennant as well, were the best. There’s something classical about violins, they’re a nice bridge to more electronic styles and lent an air of caution, even threat to the intro. The Doctor is after all a super hero who fights villains.

I love to listen to all the themes back to back. They are all great in their own right. But none of the other sends shivers down my spine like the ninth Doctors opening theme. Nine was my frist Doctor and will always be MY Doctor. ❤
