Great job! It's a compelling summary of Eric's position.

"Two brothers, one a maths guy with a hard-on for Physics. The other an evolutionary Biologist with a secret about lab mice. Together this quirky-genius brother-duo must solve the Twin Nuclei Problem." (Movie announcer voice) - Dave, the Clips Guy with too much time on his Saturday night. Loved the trailer Eric... I hope the story has a happy ending.

Gonna be some hair raising history making tales to tell by the time it all works out. May (whatever the God principle in the universe is) be with us all.

While I think we should and will colonize the "uninteresting rocks" in our solar system I think you are absolutely right that we need to figure out our own source code and go to other star systems and galaxies. We have to take this long term plan to ensure the survival of humanity's consciousness very seriously. Priority one.

Eric!! Where are you these days? We need you on the Portal, to help us unlock our fullest intellectual potential. Please, it would be amazing to see more episodes being posted again of this tremendously important project

It’s curious that both the cell and the atom have a nucleus. I take that fact as one indication / piece of evidence, among many , of a common Designer behind both physics and biology…….

I would argue that A.I. is a third, no THE third problematic nucleus. The construction of machine intelligence out of tiny transistors / ones and zeroes.

slowing down what Eric says is one of his best techniques, and messing with that tempo in post editing is like speeding up a Hendrix Song. You should publish the voice over on Soundcloud and let artists do your work for you.

what would happen if we took a serious look at this? What could we unlock? Seems like the wisdom comes from the journey, not the discovery.

If we are the type of creatures that are going to destroy ourselves, do we really want to spread out? Would it be that bad if human life stopped? All of the pain and misery in this world seem to outweigh the joy and happiness.

SO.... when you teaching 1st year through 8th year math/physics classes so the rest of us can catch up and eventually take over your work? You are thinking on a level that most do not understand, and the amount of views on this video is scary because of how important your message is. Bring us up to speed.

Probably most likely that the first human colony will be man made. That is essentially more feasible than light speed.

Id like to add a third. I call it metaeugenics. Using psychosocial science its possible to alter the tides of population’s procreation. We don’t posses the wisdom for that.

i like this clip - not sure though that giving humanity even more godlike powers by uncovering the source code of reality helps us to become wiser in the sense of having better ethics / a better a vision on the consequences of our actions

We don't need to move to a different planet, we need to change who we are. I do not have experience in neuroscience nor microbiological engineering but it's obvious we need to tweak our brain chemistry to tone down our primitive inhibitors. Naturally this could be accomplished by meditation or spirituality. But a more evolutionary approach would be similar to how we domesticated dogs. Remove from the gene pool these undesirable traits. Obviously this isn't done to living humans but through the science around Gene/DNA manipulation. I think this is going to be inevitable if we want to travel through space.
