and another thing is that Gypsy didn’t just wake up one random day with her mom randomly starting to do all of this. she was going thru this since birth so she didn’t know anything different until she became a certain age and started asking questions & putting the puzzle pieces together. she truly believed there was no other option. she knew her mother better than any of us. she knew she would manipulate people into thinking she had an undeveloped brain and can’t think for herself. such a sad sad sad situation.

For anyone saying her boyfriend deserves to be free... "I got so darn enraged that something inside of me clicked. Unfortunately, that part of me wanted to come out for a very long time and the very first opportunity it got, it didn’t waste any time. That dark shadow part of me that really is triggered by anger; once that anger clicks, I see red." Was a direct quote from him. He also admitted he had thought about SAing her mother's corpse. The watch what you eat comment from her mother was a red flag and I was surprised her mom knew she was sexually active and took her to get on the pill. I’m sure her parents are good people and it’s hard to say if they were all about their image or simply clueless. As wrong as her decision was, she found out late in her pregnancy she was expecting and was alone as to what to do. She still lives at home and was afraid to tell her parents as many teens would be. It was obvious she did not think things through and assumed no one would know. Fear panic and immaturity in decision making. Teen girls have such a hard time transitioning as still being a kid and being grown up at the same time trying to be independent and walking that fine line into grown up decisions

People are so aware and used to the fact that Gypsy did it as "revenge" on her mom for being controlling, but the truth is that she was in fact sticking up for herself. Her mother had been slowly killing her from the moment she was born, and to be honest, it could have escalated even faster and Dee Dee could have killed Gypsy. I do *NOT* condone murder at all, but in a way, she did what she had to do to survive. Dee Dee was not a mother, she was a monster and I will die on this hill.

I got pregnant as a teen and was petrified especially of my dad who is devout. I was terrified as a whole and very lost and ashamed. I also was scared of the father I got pregnant with the child with. He was extremely abusive as a teenager and I kept it a secret for a long time until I couldn't anymore. I wrote a long letter to my mom telling her if she was ashamed of me I understood and would leave. (Parents were in the process of separation.) She read the letter, fell down her wall, cried. Then it was it! She came and figured it out with me. And she took the brunt of telling my dad for me. We all got through it. Now my daughter is 17. Her dad and I separated when she was born but she still sees us both. So you definitely don't have to kill your baby over fear. I just want every girl to know there's always a solution! You just have to clear your head and take one step at a time.

Gypsy didn’t even know she was actually an adult. I mean before she even found the records her mom always told her, her birthday was 1995 instead of 1991 until she found the papers. Contrary to claims of abuse, gydpy had multiple opportunities to escape her alleged situation. Her mother would often leave her alone in the house while running errands, providing a chance for gyspy to seek help or flee. However, during the extensive 15-hour interrogation, Gypsy never once alleged abuse or harm. Instead, she consistently stated that she had a disagreement with her mother, resulting in her being asked to leave the house. I urge you to watch the full interrogation videos and trial proceedings to understand the context. The evidence presented does not support the narrative of abuse. Key points to consider: - Gypsy opportunities to escape during her mother's errands. She also was on social media searching, finding men online. She could call 911 and tell the doctor which one occasion she was alone with. - 15-hour interrogation yielded no admission of abuse Review the evidence and draw your own conclusions.

This boy should not be serving life in prison...he's guilty...but not deserving more than Gypsy..however she's been a prisoner all her life..more understandable if she had committed this crime ...ALONE..so she did use this young man to do HER crime.

If people get away with the insanity plea then Gypsy's boyfriend should be in a Developmental Center for adults with disabilities since he's autistic. Not in general prison. There's a thing where the court needs to accommodate those with disabilities

Isabela Guzman always comes to mind when a young teenager has taken the life of a parent. I think of the two horrible detectives who allowed Isabela to plead Guilty by insanity. Had The detectives been experienced/season they could’ve gained a confession from Isabella. Instead they yelled and screamed and all that did was make Isabella lie more and more. Those two detectives are the reason why Isabella is not in prison and is going to be released very soon When you watch detectives interview child parent killers they typically speak softly and accommodate their needs. This is all done in order to gain their trust and get the truth

Neither of them should have gotten life in prison. She has been in prison her ENTIRE life. She has never known freedom. Deedee didn't need to die. Everyone let Gypsy down and I'm sure she felt like there was no way out. All of those Disney movies with wicked stepmothers and princes who rescue were reality to her.

My heart goes out to Gypsy she had no childhood at all and the way her mother was treating her was so evil and she should've been the one to go to prison. So many people failed Gypsy even the justice system failed her she didn't need to go to prison. If I had the money and power, I would grant Gypsy a full pardon. I'm happy Gypsy is finally getting out of prison and starting her new life with her husband Ryan and moving forward in life with her dad, stepmother, and brother and sister. And finally getting the happily ever after she deserves.

Pardon her?! Someone having a bad childhood doesn’t give someone the right to convince someone to murder someone else or to commit a crime. If that were the case a lot of violent serial killers in the world would get pardoned as well. I too feel badly for her upbringing but what she did was wrong. She convinced a vulnerable person to commit a horrible crime and his life is also ruined. He clearly has mental health issues and she methodically took advantage of him then she turned against him immediately to save herself. She’s a highly intelligent manipulator. Her mother created a monster yet she’s still what she is- a dangerous monster despite her unfortunately lost childhood.

I don't think Skylar knew (with no prenatal care, and obviously just a clueless child herself) that when a baby is born you've only got a certain amount of time to stimulate the baby by smacking the palms of the feet (not the butt like so many people think!) And you've got to run the sternum very quickly to get the baby to breathe. I really believe that she was in shock that she had just had a baby and didn't know what to do. It's not instinct for some people like it is for others. It's just not. Like it's not in everyone's natural instincts how to be a good mother- I think it's very possible that the baby died from shock if she delivered on the toilet and that baby went into that cold water😮 it's horrible to think about and I pray that this doesn't happen to anyone else but it does happen. I used to believe this girl was a cold blooded killer but after doing extensive research on this case and causes of stillbirth etc etc I believe she was just not that instinctive and scared. And she couldn't mourn the loss of her baby properly either and had to present herself as happy happy happy all the time, I really just feel bad for her. She didn't have anyone not one person that she could talk to or tell without being afraid.

She was suffering from an eating disorder, I doubt the baby would’ve been okay even if she had prenatal care (with how late it was in the pregnancy) I don’t think she’s a murderer, she’s not a danger to society.
