*****Paul's Gospel Confirms What Was Already Preached:****** Paul, in his epistles, never claims that he preached a different gospel than what the apostles preached. Instead, he confirms that the gospel is based on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, which is what Peter and the others preached after the resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." Galatians 1:8-9: "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Paul’s words in Galatians are a direct rebuke to those who claim there is another gospel. There is one gospel, and any teaching that tries to divide this gospel into different messages is a false doctrine. *****The Error and Lies of Mid-Acts Dispensationalism**** The argument from Mid-Acts Dispensationalism that there was a “different gospel” preached by Jesus and the Twelve is a lie and not edifying. It creates confusion, division, and denies the plain teaching of Scripture. The Bible speaks of one gospel centered on Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. This false doctrine of "different gospels" leads people away from the simplicity of Christ. The claim that the Twelve preached a "different gospel" is contrary to the Word of God and the truth that Jesus Himself declared: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). *****There Is No Excuse for Clinging to Error***** It is true that people may struggle with letting go of long-held beliefs, but this is no excuse to continue in error. Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). The refusal to embrace the truth of one gospel-the gospel of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection-is a rejection of the Word of God. Denial, anger, and bargaining do not change the truth of Scripture. To hold onto the idea of "different gospels" is to cling to a lie. The Word of God is clear: there is one gospel, and it was preached by Jesus, the apostles, and Paul. *****Final Rebuke: Stand Firm in the Truth***** The assertion that there was a different gospel before Paul is not fruitful, and it is not edifying to the body of Christ. It is false and contradicts the clear teaching of the Bible. Jesus, the Twelve, and Paul preached the same gospel-that salvation is through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those who teach otherwise need to be rebuked sharply and called to repentance. The Word of God does not support this false doctrine of "different gospels." We must be bold to declare the truth: there is only one gospel that saves, and it is the gospel of Jesus Christ, crucified and risen. To promote any other teaching is to lie against the truth and to lead others astray. Stand firm in the Scriptures and reject the lies of Mid-Acts Dispensationalism. The truth is simple: Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. This is the only gospel, and there is none other.

Thank you for giving your story about how you werent really believing in/didnt know the gospel even after being confirmed. I got baptized (for the second time, first was as a baby being a catholic) at 28 and then i remember 2 months after that questioning whether it was works or grace, not even understanding the dispensation we are in. a woman named Renee explained that it was grace, and idk why, but the way she explained it clicked and i truly wanted to tell everyone. I grew up a catholic too. Wild 28 year ride just to finally get that it was grace after all those years. DEFINITELY a lot of people not saved in the church.

David, That was a hair-raisin good message. You have a double portion of both understanding and then explaining it to me. Thank you Jesus ( and you too David).

I heard a comedian say one time that what makes a joke really funny , is the element of truth it contains and explains in a creative way. One truth that anyone on the path of dispensational right division realizes at some point along their journey, is the stark reality of how lonely a path it truly is. And oh how the opposition compounds seemingly exponentially, with every scrap of truth God builds into us through RD ! So I appreciate immensely, the skillful wit with which Mr. Reid delivers up dispensational understanding. He manages with his wry wit and dry humor here to take some of the sting out of much of the lunacy the enemy conjures up in folks , in his opposition to the gospel of Christ . And the Lord knows we can all use a good laugh now and again , while we continue to fight the good fight of RD and stand against all the Haters . I’m sure the pastor will not want too much praise or attention here , so I’ll stop . But I’ll say once again that I was very edified by this study , and that I don’t mind telling you also ; very entertained . Bravo 👏…🤣

Wouldn't it be simple to just say, show me where Jesus and the 12 preached, the death burial and resurrection for salvation. And if they can't, then it's obvious that it's a different gospel.

No. Because taking away a structure, a system of teachings, a framework that has built thousands of Christian denominations is yanking the rug out from under people. If they don't have the solution simultaneous to the problem, you're removing their self-made framework and leaving them in shambles. A lot of this is a process of grief. When you've invested intention, dollars, time, friends, family into a system for many decades, do you think you can undo this quickly? Turn that truck upside-down and walk away? No. Grief works like this: 1. Denial 2. Anger 3. Bargaining 4. Depression 5. Acceptance Many never get past the first couple stages. They see it as YOU trying to take away the scripture from them, trying to take away the very thing they have trusted in for decades (or however long; the longer the worse it is), trying to teach them some kind of heresy about Christ. That's how they see it. I know this by experience. If they partly acknowledge you have points to make from the scriptures, they'll count the cost inside and quickly not be willing to pay it: loss of friends, loss of family members, loss of community, loss of so much they build their lives around, loss of all the great programs and works they zealously did. It's a massive upheaval of their lives. It's not something of a simple argument over what they think is "semantics."

@@exothermal.sprocket We completely agree that many count the cost and decide that it is not worth paying. There are other things that they care about more. This is how it always has been and always will be.

@@ColumbusBibleChurch I was raised in Baptist tradition. I call it "lore." Spent 21 years in it, faithfully, really following parents. Having been exposed to something very different (Pentecostalism), I decided remaining in deadness wasn't my bag. I left it, without a good reason to. Spent 11 years in Pentecostal (heavy). Became frustrated and disillusioned in it eventually, as I'm not someone satisfied with shallow answers. Spent another 2-3 years with more discretion in what I will call Pentecostal lite. I eventually hung it all up and did what fatigue had led me to, thinking for myself and clinging to the scripture alone. Through all those years and all that time, I had lots of pressure from people. None of it valuable advice. About 5 years ago come across one of the grace ministers on KZbin and lights turned on. Been with it ever since, learning, unlearning, being stablished. I can empathize with people in how difficult it is to give up the religious lore, to realize how rare the Pauline truths really are and just how long it's actually been that way (since Paul was offered). The real Pauline gospel is tiny by number. Accepting this fact is even very difficult among Grace believing, dispensational Saints.

@@ColumbusBibleChurch David Reid why are you still trying to convince your small congregation your heretical and false teaching that Peter and Paul preached different gospels?
