@@saebica nu-i nici o limbă.

I understand 70% without knowing Aromanian. In some aspects there is also the perfect simple used in Oltenia - Romania, in other aspects like Io (sa) hiu hie, like in Transylvania and there are also many words that sound closer to Moldovan Romanian.

@@ddpmk355 Modern Romanian acquired 20-30% neologisms from other Romance languages but if we use Archaic Romanian only proves a very deep and solid connection of all east Romance speakers left today, from North Carpathians to South Balkans and from the west Carpathians to beyond Dniester and often attested beyond the Bug river, which coincides with the area of spread of Geto - Dacians and Thracians.

@@ddpmk355 My dear our ethnicity spread was a lot bigger than is known today. South half of Maramures county is in north Romania, but until before the WWs Maramures county included also the upper half in todays Ukraine, east Slovakia and north east Hungary. North Bukovina area in Ukraine was also mostly Vlachs - Romanians and Stephen the Great of Moldavia in XV century fought few wars to recover Pocutia in Galicia - west Ukraine and Podolia, which he considered that always belonged to his forefathers. He also brought 100k Ruthenians (Ukrainians) from the north in those areas of north Moldova that time to increase the population and pay taxes by working the land. Russian language contain a lot of Latin origin words that came from the Proto - Romanian of the assimilated Vlachs in time. In the early 13 century on both sides of Bug river are attested Volohovenii, who used to be under Cumans and Rus until they joined the Mongols in the Battle of Kalka 1223, where the Mongols of Subutai destroyed the Cumans and Rus and thereafter the Volohovenii boyars became well threated and respected at khans courts. They eventually vanished during the Hetmanate of Cossacks, from the Grasshoppers and Haymakers as free man, which initially were ethnic Vlachs at north of Black sea, around Dnieper river, before were Slavicized in time and became special troops of the Russian empire. During the WW2 in 42 - 43 Romanian census between Bug and Don rivers still found 350k families speakers of Moldo - Romanian that time and 120k more that declared as such but didn't speak the language anymore. The Vlachs of west Carpathians and Moravia is another sad story of genocide and assimilation by the Habsburgs and the Slavs of the area. In south Hungary and west Croatia today there were 2 Vlach counties until 2-3 centuries ago. Not to mention a lot of Serbian land and the Adriatic coast. Going back to the Mongol invasion also coincided with the Romanian principalities formantion at north Danube, as the Mongols destroyed the empires around the area and the Vlach statelets around Carpathian mountains could unite under the Bessarab dynasties of Bessi Vlachs. They were Romanized and Christianized former Thracian Bessi of central Balkans, sent by Iustinian to found saint Katherine monastic complex in Sinai Peninsula, for they were renown for being very religious within the eastern Roman empire. They returned to Balkans after Arab invasion of the area and found their area settled by Slavs and probably the turanic Volgars, so is said that they moved to south Carpathians somewhere in the second half of 7 century, where they founded Sinaia monastic complex, a holy and ancient monastic place to Romanians. Something like Meteora and Athos to south Balkan Vlachs and Greeks.

Each with the name from the area or the city The other ones, from what I know and I'm not sure, is that we have "moscopoleanji" from Moskopole, pindenji, from Pindus mountains, and some more I can't remember

Hello frate!!! You would be hugely surprised when you read surnames of my region in Western Greece. a) families relative to mine (Diccia); Capurani, Gianni, Dimarelli, Ciuccia, Busia, Vongoli, Reppa, Scupra, Mazzola, Baggio, b) some other, non relative to mine, but also Aromani; Coletti, Buttari, Zappa, Bulgari, Cotta, Nasica, My places of origin, Furca, Praetori(a), Giurgia, Moschopolis, and through the Capurani family of my grandmother, though non confirmed but through oral tradition, from Caput Histriae, aka Capodistria, having moved since 16th century, due to plague, southwards, settled in Albania, then Greece. Some toponyms of Aromani in Greece; Santa Maria de Praetoria, (settled from my town Praetori(a), (transcribed to Samarina through centuries of linguistic corruption of the initial name), Velestino, Syrrako, Giurgia, Ameru, Metsovo, Calarites, Furca, . We're the remains of Legio Quinta Macedonica, hence the ethnonyms, Macedo-Romani and Cincari (cinci=5 in Limba Aromaneasca), and our language is purely Romance, deriving from sermo vulgaris, as all Romance languages. Family Bulgari, as well as Giorgio Armani (i've been aware of through some people close to him over the years), are of Aromani descent.
