The Two Kings: 仁王 Nioh (No Damage)

Before i reset my character, i wanted to have another go at this :\
Honda and Toyota... i mean Tachibana D:
I picked weapons that are lower level than the stage itself.
The loop you see against Honda is something i found out when i was no damaging Sakon days ago. I was about to make a video about that but left it there... It works on all human bosses, most of the time, unless the boss did a wake up attack. I think it's going to get patched.

You're the only one I have seen on KZbin doing it "legit" without using op builds that hits 10k or more per hit and broken magic, you're gameplay shows the beauty of nioh

XHL is legit awesome :) but there are others that can play this "legit". He uses slightly weaker weapons which make the the mission longer and more suitable for failure (get hit).

yep I tried the LW wep build with kusarigana and spamming blade spin because so many people are doing it in coop. That build makes the game extremely boring. It is also annoying to see everyone running the same build spamming one skill over and over in coop :/

There is nothing to watch on Nioh after that, i was looking to a cheese method to overcome those two bastards they gave me headache and hand shaking for over 5 hours+, but when i saw this video and the skills you have XLHGladiator i felt like it's cheap to look for a cheesy way,i've just realised that i 've got it all wrong, in Nioh if you can't overcome then perfect your skills! Thank you, you sure are a gladiator !!

Since beta he's been more of a teacher than anything. I use his videos for techniques and what not. Since his skill is above anyone else I've seen on KZbin, I take a lot of pointers from him. For instance the Iai into the final blow when someone is downed. If it wasn't for XLH Gladiator I wouldn't know about that trick. It helped me get through the Nobunaga + Yuki-onna fight much easier.

2:38 that parry was pretty sweet. (it would be prettier if he died right there...he was close though). It's amazing how you never get greedy, there were a couple times in the video where I would land a couple more strikes on Muneshige whithout even caring about getting hit by Honda (and probably getting rektd xD). Amazing skill, mad props.

I learned the hard way ^^' Countless ruined runs because of that fatty Honda. It may seem random and the AI might look stupid but once Tachibana is out of ki Honda charges towards me like 95% of the time with that instant spear dash or rock throw X_x

XLH what was your toughness stat during this vid? From the looks of your armor, you must have A rank agility, which means that you have C rank toughness. I could be wrong, but it feels like Honda should've taken more Ki out of your guard at 2:15 Edit: never mind, B rank toughness is fine

Yes, i go title hunting a lot. And i upgrade my toughness through there. When i get the chance of course because those stats are random. Also, i equip some gear with toughness... sometimes.

i know about flux. i am asking about his stamina stats, which affect equipment load. If he is only wearing those armor, he certainly dont need 34 stamina to get agility A i think

He's at 27.7%. It's because he's wearing a few pieces of medium armor. With full light armor you only need at most 20 stamina to get A agility. However, even with some pieces of medium armor it becomes very difficult to reach A.

Oh that... i wear mid weight gear sometimes, like Mitsunari's helmet because its got some stats i want in there. When i record, i usually don't care about stats, buffs and crazy good weapons. Because the main purpose of the video is to show the battle and how to deal with enemies.

High stance Triangle finisher. the Final Strike if it connects to a human target(at least) it'll put them in a downed state.

The skill is called 'Spearfall' you have to purchase and equip it though, it's not in the default spear moveset.

Ever played Dark Souls or Bloodborne? I can understand if Dark Souls is slow paced for you but Bloodborne's combat is fast and frantic. It's combat is just less varied than Nioh.

I haven't started my WotS difficulty run yet. It just gives enemies more attack and defense from what i've heard, the AI still fights the same. You can still make the normal mode challenging by using low level weapons.
