Might be interesting to listen to some of Ronnie Corbetts monologues - He used to just sit in a rocking chair and make a 1 minute ficticious story last 5 or 10 minutes with endless digressions. He was most famous for being vertically challenged.

Oh, i just thought of something! A good thing to watch! Not even for a reaction vid or anything, maybe just for enjoyment, and as a window into the culture of Great Britain. It's called Oz and James Drink to Britain. A third (i think) season in the Oz and James adventures (S1 drinking in france, S2 the same but in USA). It was so much fun, and i learnt so much. btw: all 3 seasons of this show are great...

Yeah... I agree jj... All they have to do is react to the clip on camera... And if they still think that it's too much for them to upload... Then they don't upload it... But don't dismiss it out of hand because you think it's going to be offensive... It's a hilarious clip... And i'm sure that no section of a diverse society... Would find it offensive in the least... The Two Ronnies were much loved wholesome family entertainers... Their perception of this clip is just so wrong... Judging a book by it's cover instead of reading it... Isn't fair at all... Simply react to the clip on camera... And see for yourself... It's that easy!... It's not exactly rocket science guys!.

On the racism and comedy issue, if you haven't already done so, look up "Love thy Neighbour", an old British sitcom about race relations. This ridiculed the racist bigot but would never be allowed today because of the free use (even in that context) of racial epithets.

this woke crap does my swede in. some people are "offended" by anything or everything. esp on someone else's behalf. its comedy. it comes from a good or bad place. i dont go out of my way to deliberately upset anyone. not at all. but i wont be told, what i can or cant say, by ANYONE. and this is what the majority think, theyre just too scared to say so. if we all took this stance, this rubbish would just disappear
@Really-hx7rl7 ай бұрын
I think there has always got to be a truth behind something you making a joke about but it's taken to a point of absurdity that it just becomes funny something that Lee Evans is extremely good at. However someone will always get offended no matter what. 🙄

Woke just means not an evil racist and bigot. It's worrying that you talk as if being woke is weird or wrong. Don't assume the UK is less woke. Here, woke is the default. We don't discuss it much, because the jtter assembled generations ago.
@BoringReviews7 ай бұрын
I have never thought of it as that. Obviously I don’t think I’m a racist. I think of woke as someone who goes with the new political trends without really knowing what they are or what they stand for but to make sure they fit in.
