Awesome video. Thanks for taking the time to teach others new things and effective fly patterns. I also use fly tyers dungeon materials, love the products and the price.

Thanks Ethan, yes FTD Congo hair is often sold under different names at a much higher price. Thanks for the support 👍

Should the wire be annealed or not? I guess they behave quite different to each other. Cheers, Piffen

Hey not sure what you mean about annealed, I just use my lain 0.2mm stainless steel wire , works no problem 😉

@@NorbertRenaud Annealing is a heat treatment that makes the steel softer. I checked the link on your blog and they have both annealed and non-annealed, so I was wondering which one you use. Thanks for your excellent channel, with all nice tips on saving money, and tricks! You're a great down to earth kind of guy that there are too few of in this world. Cheers, Piffen

@@NorbertRenaud I asked on the gamechanger group on Facebook and the wire he recommended was in fact annealed even though he didn't know that. It said so further down in the description. Well this will have to be a future project since my monthly budget has gone to a Danielsson F3W 7Ten reel, two lines, backing and other fly tying material. I am just about to begin my fly fishing for pike and I am looking forward to get down to the water!
