I play with the right side of the tree except for the beginning where i chose the spotting zoom, which helps me find where the infantry hide in the jungle. And you can make more point as you make spotting kills instead of missing some enemies. Very effective in breakthrough, not much in conquest !

Went on a 13 tank kill streak and about 20 infantry kill. That big type 5 tank gun is worth it if you want to tear shermans or LVT's apart💪 Stick to mgs when against infantry though. Its a bit less effective against infantry I've noticed. Thanks for the vid AKA! Always getting that creative side out of all gamers as usual

SR Hybrid 500 yes the all right side load out is very powerful. 62-4 with it. But I think it is quite good against infantry as well. Not as good as the howizter but still good

Lol the chi ha comes with the world's smallest gun and the standard Sherman already comes with a 75 mm gun. 75 mm is the biggest gun you can put on the chi ha. And the biggest gun you can put on a Sherman is 76 mm. The Sherman and LVT are way better than the crappy thin chi ha and also the goofy looking ka mi amphibious vehicle.

If you were playing BFV the moment the pacific update released you'd realise how powerful the large gun on it was. The sherman 76mm still required the HEAT round in order to 2 or 3 shot a Chi Ha while the Chi Ha could 2 or 3 shot kill a Sherman with standard rounds at that time.

I've jumping in friendly tanks and repairing them like a mad man helping them out and ranking mine up as I go, it feels fun and rewarding on these maps for some reason. I went the 120mm build just so I can pop a shot into bunkers to clear them out, but I will have to try the right side build now.

Chi-Nu and Chi-Nu II both existed. They use Chi-He hull not Chi-Ha. The howitzer is an 120mm anti-submarine gun. In game the model for the 120mm isn't entirely accurate so it's missing most of the gunshield and muzzlebreak although it is still short in reality.

Depends on the battle. If it’s to support against tanks I use the type 3 or the doubled canon (I do not use the howizer) for infantry support/suppression

tbh one of the many things i loved about bf4 when compared to bfv is how there were more vehicles available on each map i used to get the chance to fly and be in a tank basically every match however in bfv i rarely spawn when there’s a vehicle available

For conquest I stick to the Right side to handle whatever shows up. For breakthrough however, I switch to the 122 Howitzer, ESPECIALLY on Iwo Jima, once you learn the travel and drop, you can get a bit father away, and the feeling of landing a 122 inside a full landing craft before it lands.. perfection Or just derp the poor players the second that ramp drops or they get out together, and any clump This relies on other players dealing with armor, but most other tanks are 75MM big gun tanks, so it works great usually Edit: the hull Howitzer is also nice, as it lets any squad mates/randos have an easier time with infantry, and let them be useful if a tank shows up, not outstanding help, but it gets the job done

@@urbanerzar5381 Chi-Ha and Chi-Nu are two different vehicles. Chi-Nu is based on Chi-He which unlike Chi-Ha it has better armor, better engine and the chassis while looks similar to the Chi-Has but it is a redesigned. Btw it is Type 3 Chi-Nu, the Type 2 medium tank is Ho-I.

You should try the 75mm with HE-ATT rounds on the Sherman! Two shot tanks if you hit your first shot good

I still like playing the other tanks with the AA guns. I shoot zero planes and use it for infantry. That, use the anti armor rounds, and you can do 75 damage to enemy tanks if you sneak up behind them and shoot the engine. By then, they panic and you can usually finish them off easy.

There is a little glitch where you can go into a river which is the height of your turret you can use the top MG and gun down soldiers without dying you can do this on twisted steel and I never died

Its kinda dumb that it does better than the Sherman's 76mm M1A2 gun especially since the type 74 (or Chi-nu 2 as that's what the tank turns into when you equip the top gun) has weaker armor than the Sherman and the gun can easily pen it without any problems, long as the person who is driving knows where to shot the hostile tank

I've been unable to utilize the tanks. For some reason on the Pacific maps, I cannot keep the tank from moving on its own. I've tried my controller settings, parking on flat surfaces, parking on hillsides, parking next to buildings or barricades. The tracks keep turning. I've done a bit of research and discovered I'm not the only player with this problem. Appears to be a bug with XB1X. Tanks are unplayable for me unfortunately :(

I prefer the Sherman with the 76mm and HEAT rounds, if shot correctly you can 2 shot tanks. I always rock my tanks with the best anti tank capabilities, infantry is never a problem unless you put yourself in a bad situation or your team is just a dumpster fire.

Did the 120mm howitzer first time around. Was just devastating on infantry kills on both maps . LVT's were easy prey just lobbing that big shell on top of them. On the Sherman's it was a toss up . Needed to get first shot or find a noob running a tank. Just switched up specialization tree around to the right side. Need a couple more games to see change was worth it.

imo the 120mm howitzer is so laughable bad, like i have never hit more than 35 with it, and the drop on that thing is just insane. It makes no sense what so ever to go with the 120. Maybe it has a bit better splash damage? but else i cant really find an argument to choose it, over the 75mm, it hits for more and the drop is so much better. And then there is the heat rounds on the sherman, those things hits for like 48 damage, if the howitzer hit for that amount of damage i could see it as a pick.

Why is the first video someone in a trench cheesing out on the other team? That's not a cool kill feed. It's a person playing like a dick. Now, for the type 97. Get the max upgraded tank buster cannon, and then use the upgrade to shoot it faster. This build will destroy any tanks that get anywhere close to in your way. The only downside is that you become something of a glass cannon. You need to come out of zoom and go third person view to check around for assault troops who can dynamite you in one go. I think I'm going to try this build with the middle tree upgrades for the five and six slot.
