Idk if you guys are wondering this, but since they don’t make it that clear I feel I might as well leave a comment. Ego mentions in the manga that he hasn’t entirely decided who’ll make the bench, so the rest of the cast still has the 15 day training period to prove their worth and make the team as a substitute Also, and maybe more importantly, players who don’t make the team will NOT be locked off (this isn’t a spoiler/surprise, just something they didn’t really establish that clearly). Sure, pretty much only the best players will make the team, but I guess Ego won’t cut anyone rn since this wasn’t part of his initial plan
