Imagine being in an assault and you're told to defend a position and this is landing over your position 😭

Had a chinook jumping late july, mmMMMMmm. Finest jumps ever see, also nice not having to land in 2-4 feet of snow with 100lbs plus of gear post holing with snow shoes

For those who don’t know the landing feels like jumping off of a 2 story building (top of the roof on a second floor building) just with a little cushion from the parachute shit hurts 😂

@deylond9687 like on pillows or sand or carper.. What would you compare it to if you had to? Serious question

@@Johnny2Bags47 Sometimes it feels like falling off a bike maybe a little rougher, my very first jump i barely felt it at all, probably all the adrenaline but my first one felt like when you bounce on a trampoline, minus the bouncing part 🤣. Every jump after that i hit a little harder but it just felt like falling off a bike

I read recently that jump pay is still $55 a month. I can't believe it, that is what I got 65 years ago in the 1950s. If it is true, it is a crime!

Nah. Jump pay is $150 a month now

Doesn't the soldiers get tangled in each others parachutes from being so close together when jumping? Just wondered.
@ShaneCawthon Жыл бұрын
It's certainly possible but the jumpers exits are staggered to avoid it happening, and if you happen to get close to another jumper after exit you slip in the other way with the lower jumper having the right of way. At least that's what I remember from doing this years ago.
@lifesinsanity4432 Жыл бұрын
It happens I can attest. The medic and I exited simultaneously. We rode them down. Those canopies have a ton of sq footage, not like skydiving canopies. They can safely carry 2 down load with gear. That was in the early 90's. They jumping a C-17? Airborne! Thank you my brothers and sister for your service.

Yeah it does happen. You don't want to be a towed jumper, you don't want to have a static line injury and you sure as hell don't want the jumper below you to steal your air
@AltonJones-sh2sb5 ай бұрын
Yeah,that shit happens. It's called morons not knowing how to slip or maneuver their parachute,it gets really exciting on night jumps😂😂.there's a difference between a paratrooper and a parachutest.🤔😂😂.

Illusion. It happens on EXCEEDINGLY rare occasions.
