A while back when talking about more ancient vessels, you previously described the Mediterranean as having two kinds of weather “calm and why are you out of your port you stupid moron” yet it seems that the latter becomes rarer and rarer as the age of sail drags on and with the arrival of steam disappears completely from the record, did the Mediterranean squadron, the Italian Navy or the French ever encounter heavy storms in the Mediterranean during WW2?

Are you aware of if this "new technology" 3d publishing will also allow the viewer to see a vessel in almost an x-ray format such that you can see behind or through bulkheads as the various angles and elevations to see how for example a shell penetration impacting a vessel, was effected by the angle of that impact.

I recently came across some information that the Vichy French governor of Madagascar requested assistance in defending the island against allied attacks was there anything that could realistically have been done to defend Madagascar or was it going to fall regardless of whatever assistance was given by the axis?

USNI participated in a World of Warships activity? If its anything like their land domain title ("Waste of Time") that would have been a traumatic clash of fact vs fiction. I hope that company is not infiltrating the USNI, just as they have messed up the Tank Museum.
