Hiruzen was literally the worse hokage. He knew how scummy danzo was but continued to let danzo do whatever he liked which got so many innocent people killed and ruined many lives. Hiruzen is an evil guy. Him being selfish and refusing to kill orochimaru costed more innocent lives and than eventually his own. You reap what you sow.

Look on the bright side, he trained Sasuke well after leaving the village and Hirzuen removed Danzo from the council for acting on the Uchiha without permission. Blaming Hiruzen is not gonna do a thing. Every ninja village has light and darkness.

Well a big factor of the Uchiha failing is because itachi was ordered to kill the Uchiha, obito helped him doing that. And fugaku didn't fight back to his son. But the real root of the problem lies within the plan of Black zetsu. If he didnt fool indra and the generations after him there wouldn't be a coup d'etat. And the image of Uchihas being dangerous wouldnt be in Tobiramas mind (a thought he had bc of his friend being killed by them). There was a time where they all could get along. Fugaku and minato, madara and hashirama, indra asura Naruto Sasuke. Until that one factor took over

@@NarutoExplained In my opinion, I think the Leaf council wants to find any small reason to eliminate the Uchiha... Not because the clan was a nuisance to the village. That philosophy was somewhat birthed by the 2nd Hokage. But, from the way Danzo had those Sharingan implanted in his arm, the elimination was strictly for stealing the abilities of the Uchiha so the Leaf can use it to control more tailed beasts and increase their military strength.

If Fugaku had been patient, in the end he could have got exactly what he wanted without bloodshed, or at least a bloodless coup. He lacked political savvy. Step 1 - Start with Hurizen having an 'inquiry' about the 9-tails attack that will absolve the Uchiha of any involvement to create public trust in the Uchiha and confidence in Hurizen's role as Hokage. It also serves as a warning shot from Hiruzen to Danzo to show who wears the hokage hat. Step 2 - Get Hiruzen to agree to relocating the Uchiha who want to be in town - then move them right next to Danzo's house, just cuz. Step 3 - Fugaku convincing others that he'd be the best fit for next hokage. Fugaku can bide his time building up his own reputation among the other clans and civilians, and other villages to enhance his diplomatic skills. Can't just sharingan someone every time something doesn't go his way. This makes Fugaku the next logical candidate for hokage when Hiruzen steps down - and let's face it, he's been wanting to retire for a while but until another option for a replacement comes available, he was stuck in the job. Or Fugaku becomes an authoritarian anyways because it's in his nature, with a more leafy Mist Village 2.0

You do realize even with all the slander he gets by the time of the chunnin exams when he fought orochimaru even in his old age he wasn’t just regarded as the professor for mastering all non kekeigenkai hidden jutsu within the entire leaf village but also a lot jutsu outside of village and he was considered even at his old age at the strongest kage out of the all 5 kage and still held that title during the events of the 9 tails attack and during the entirety of time of bad blood brewing between the village and the uchiha before and after they were slaughtered by itatchi & obito. So if fugaku went through with his plans and led a squad with himself, his right hand man, and had the help of his son and Shisui they still would have had a tough time dealing with him and it’s possible the 3rd before getting killed or get captured and mind controlled by fugaku or Shisui with their dojustu the 3rd could have possibly killed one of them while severely injuring another or could’ve possibly end up killing two of them before getting killed himself or captured last second with dojustu.

I’m not denying just how powerful itatchi, Fugaku, Shisui are but I think you and many others are severely underestimating hiruzen. There’s a reason that danzo opted to using under handed tactics from the shadows to undermine him and even at elder meetings would undermine him politically to create doubt in his ability to properly govern the village and even sent numerous disguised foundation anbu black ops to try assassinate him which always failed and he did all this because the gap between him and the 3rd was so massive that he tried to challenge his position through fighting would end with his loss and whether not he would be killed would be determined by the 3rd showing mercy. So to take to the 3rd hokage lightly by believing he couldn’t do shit against those 3 together is foolish.

the ultimate question is if they could've survived the wrath of all the other villages if they would have succeeded. regardless of how a coup went down be it through the uchiha's usual ruthlessness or if they were to do so peacefully, i highly doubt they would've survived the wrath of the other villages since the other villages would've most definitely attacked konoha and took it's land for themselves especially when we look at all the other villages operations at the time with iwa operating like mercenaries, kumo being outright ruthless, kiri being bloodthirsty and suna being desperate to survive. a konoha weakened by a coup regardless of its outcome would just get decimated by the combined might of the other villages attacking through their own agendas

It's funny you uploaded a video about the Uchiha because I was thinking about fugaku... I was wondering how different it would be if (after Minato and shisui died, but before the massacre) fugaku was named 5th hokage. I then started to think about how different it would be if (again, after the minatos death) the 3rd hogake and fugaku worked together and found out danzo was teaming with orochimaru (would this be a big enough push for the elders to consider fugaku to be the 5th hokage?).... basically how different would it be if the coup d'etat never happened after minatos death and fugaku became hokage " peacefully " (not by force or genjutsu from shisui's m.s.) If we're including Itachi and Shisui then obviously the plan would've been successful. But without them, it would've been 50/50. We are unaware when Guy unlocked 8 gates, but during this time period it's safe to assume no he didn't have it at that time. So all you have really is Jiraiyah, Tsunade, Hiruzen, Kakashi and 7th gate Guy. Now this can go either way. 1. Since most of the Uchiha are featless including Fugaku, we can't really scale how OP their MS abilities are and due to that, Konoha might be able to push them back and win if they decide to fight them head on. 2. If the Uchiha decide to go the Itachi route and go for an assassination attempt with just stealth kills. This will lower their numbers until they realize "yeah we are under attack" this will give the Uchiha the upper hand to win with numbers and power advantage. Knowing Fugaku as he is the father of Itachi, I doubt he would just march in and have the whole Leaf jump them. He would more than likely go with option 2

The answer to the question is both yes and no. If the writers write the plan to work it would have and if the wtote it to fail it would have. Also in thay alternate story where Minayo survive. He may of stopped the massacre but he had yet deal with the unrest with the Uchiha.

One thing I think a lot of people don't think of is that once the coup d'etat starts, a lot of Uchiha would be getting these massive Sharingan upgrades since they would be seeing family members get killed. Heck, some of them would have definitely awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan. Then the blood battle would have really begun as the Uchiha clan might not have posed a real threat at the start but as time passes would have gotten stronger.

Shisui, itachi, and fugaku alone can solo especially if your factoring that fugaku was implied to have the power to control nine tails. If obito gave them a hand then it’ll be over way sooner.

The Uchiha would win and here is why… First of all let’s review the Uchiha’s manpower. Fugaku with ms able to controle nine tails (order abilities are not known but just imagine) , Shisui with koto, itachi Anbu, possibly obito who already had talks with yashiro Uchiha, and of course the 2-3 tomoe sharingan users. Don’t get me wrong the whole of the leaf is no easy task, you have Hiruzen Danzo other noble clans anbu root Kakashi guy and your usuals chunnin and jonin who would make up a whole lot of fighting force against one clan. The Uchiha would still win but with great great cost. A lot of Uchiha would die in the process, fighting force and Uchiha civilians which would result to a lot of 3 tomoe evolutions to ms. The leaf (no village) just can’t handle the nine tails and multiple Susano’s at once. This would also be a surprise attack so the Uchiha would have a head start. The Uchiha would win but casualties on both sides would be catastrophic which would result in neighbouring villages attacking and starting the 4th ninja war. Obito would also then promote his eye of the moon plan and would want to take over kurama from fugaku, who actually just wants recognition from the village. Some Uchiha would follow fugaku and some obito. This would also result to civil war within the Uchiha (from what was left after the leaf attack) Overal it would be a mess.

Based on Hiruzen’s performance against Orochimaru and the edo tensei. A younger and stronger version of Hiruzen would probably cook those 3.

If Minato was Hokage I doubt they'd try. Hear me out. The ability to teleport regardless of sharigan is so broken that one tag one knife throw could very well mean death. And for a whole clan to be whipped out by two S class ninja then one Minato would blitz and kill every Uchiha. But he'd also throw Donzo off the elders and put Tsuna, Kushina and Huruzan and they'd never betray trust. And keep the Uchiha close rather than push them away

Well I am in agreement with Itachi this plan would have not worked as the Hyuga would've saw that the third was under genjutsu . Plus Hiruzen being the fame as the professor that studied all things in the leave village who lived in era of madara the strongest uchia i dont think he could've been a vulnerable to genjutsu like that plus the only known strong genjutsu there was Shisu because itachi had no MS and fugaku abilities arent known but givin how proficient sasuke and itachi were in genjutsu that must be genetic so we could give fugaku possibly a sasuke level genjutsu. And considering how shinobis the third trained was immune to genjutsu except for Orochimaru but jiraya and Tsunade cant be placed under genjutsu easily either so i don't think genjutsu would work only way would be all out fight and even if they did beat the old man the village still wouldn't accept them they should have done a coup on the foundation it would make more sense to kill Danzo or genjutsu both him and the two elders nobody would have known as they are normally locked in. The better plan was to get the support of the village a negotiate with Hiruzen to step down and demand better treatment of the Uchia. I can't believe people saying this would work and itachi one of the smartest shinobi is saying its a rubbish plan. Well atleast we know one hokage no matter at what age wouldn't stand for this our Lord Tobiarama😂😂😂😂.

So from the uchiha perspective, under false suspicion they were isolated and practically stripped of all power and influence. Not to mention due to madaras battle with hashirama, the uchiha constantly faced fear suspicion and resentment from the people and by the higher ups of the village.

After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*

If we're including Itachi and Shisui then obviously the plan would've been successful. But without them, it would've been 50/50. We are unaware when Guy unlocked 8 gates, but during this time period it's safe to assume no he didn't have it at that time. So all you have really is Jiraiyah, Tsunade, Hiruzen, Kakashi and 7th gate Guy. Now this can go either way. 1. Since most of the Uchiha are featless including Fugaku, we can't really scale how OP their MS abilities are and due to that, Konoha might be able to push them back and win if they decide to fight them head on. 2. If the Uchiha decide to go the Itachi route and go for an assassination attempt with just stealth kills. This will lower their numbers until they realize "yeah we are under attack" this will give the Uchiha the upper hand to win with numbers and power advantage. Knowing Fugaku as he is the father of Itachi, I doubt he would just march in and have the whole Leaf jump them. He would more than likely go with option 2
