This commuter train was introduced by Iddi Amin in mid 70s, before it died and now resurrected, shld however, by now shld long hav been extended to other places like Portbell and Westen Kla.

Our train system is very disappointing. Ugandans need a much better train system reaching out all over the country to combat transport delays. Hope the ongoing SGR project meets our expectations.
