The American M6A2E1 is one of the worst looking tanks I have seen. That being said, it's also quite good (when it doesn't get constant uptiers). Thanks Gaijin.

Yeah, 6.7 is practically unplayable right now. I’m honestly surprised you got that one partial uptier, I’ve gone like 25 battles in a row without one at 6.7 recently

Up and down tiers shouldn't be in the game. I have no clue why this archaic ass system is still being used when there are enough players to get rid of it. It's a terrible system these days, much like a lot of Gaijin's systems. It was implemented at a time when the game had far fewer vehicles and needs a total rework. It's pretty ridiculous that 6.7 vehicles are just cannon fodder for 7.7 vehicles at all times. I have always had the same experience playing every BR between 2.0-5.7, just near constant up tiers with 1 or 2 non up tiers. I don't play the game much above 5.7 which is the only reason I even limited it to that but yeah, it's at least 80% to 20% in up tiers to down tiers.

If you want to try a fun British vehicle try the SARC VI 6pdr or Concept 3. The guns are brilliant for their BR (minus the HE filler) and their speed makes for some rlly fun goofy moments whilst still being able to dominate several BRs above their allocated one

I'm a big fan of the M6A2E1. Big gun, good armor, and the reverse speed from the electric transmission is really useful. Definitely one of the best battlepass vehicles.

6.3-7.0 basically may as well not exist, it's all constant uptiers to 7.3 and 8.0. Also give the Crusader II a try, it's a fun tank if you know what you're doing with it

I bought the jagdtiger and started playing my 6.7 lineup again after that. No exaggeration, at least 20 games of nothing but 7.7 and 7.3 matches. I completely researched the marder with not a single 7.0 or 6.7 match

Hey Spook, you should play the Semovente 75/46 M43. It's a deeply overshadowed italian tank destroyer which can deliver an heavy punch but it's deeply ignored the potential it has. (Day 43)

The 75/34 m43 is also really good, its a shame its a folder vehicle honestly because it's really overlooked because of it, it has the same armor as the 75/46 but it's at 3.3 where it can only be penned frontally by tank destroyers and panzer 4's (and shermans can also pen it if they aim at a good spot but they tend to hit the sponsons or another heavily armored spot) I'd wager to say it's italy's only real heavy tank because of how effective its armor is at the BR its at.

@@h3069 The first few br’s italy kinda sucks but has some great aspects, like amazing gun depression and for the 47mm equipped tanks they have surprisingly great angle pen and one shot ability, hell i remember playing at like 9.0 when i was low on silver lions and i brought out the AB43 and it still killed most MBTs from the side with one or two shots

So I discovered the hard way that this tanks front plate is now basically impervious to apds since the last update. Apparently because of it has two armor plates even the conquerors guns (with 400 some mm of pen) can’t go through it at all. That was fun to learn

Honestly 6.7 is absolute hell to play right now. I can't remember the last time I had an actual downtier. Which is hilarious because when I play 5.7 I keep getting sucked up to 6.7

Spook, it *is* a proto T29 lol. By 1944 the Army didn’t want the M6 in service at all, but they found the T1E1 to be a sufficient test bed for the then in-development T29’s turret. The standardization name for the T1E1 was to be M6A2 were it to enter service, so the two test beds they made were designated M6A2E1. The front armor plate was never fitted btw, as it was a proposed upgrade for the M6A2 during the last attempt to get the M6 accepted into service, alongside a proposed up-gunning to the then brand new M3 90mm cannon.

I love this tank, at range the armor is surprisingly reliable and it’s canon is very easy to snipe with, and that reverse speed lets you shoot n scoot like nobody’s business Also for some reason I hardly ever get one shot, even though I bring a bit more ammo then spook did

It sucks how it's constant uptiers at this br. Whenever I first got within American T-34 range in my German tree, I couldn't fight them because I simply couldn't pen them almost anywhere at the front. I've been stuck in 6.3 for just over two months now

This thing is one of my go-to vehicles to print SL and bully people who have no idea how to deal with it. It has a lot of shortcomings, and I usually despise heavies, but it has a few things that make it incredible if you know what you are doing. That 105 is a monster for over pressure. I find it very comparable damage and pen wise to the tiger 2 105. The high profile can be really helpful on some maps to shoot over cover people do not expect, although that can also be a curse since you can not always hide behind the same cover everyone else can. The biggest advantage this thing has in uptiers, though, is the number of leo players that are so used to point and clicking UFPs with their sabot. Before the sabot changes this things UFP was completely immune to 105 sabot past 500m as it shatters. I have not played it since the sabot changes, but I can only imagine it got stronger in that department
