The worst part of importing from China for me is the shipping and US tariffs. They really dont understand the damage that can happen in shipping. Almost every order, I have to have replacement parts sent later, which is another headache. Most of any products I order have some weight to them and are not individually packaged. One time I just went over there and hand carried it back, and it was cheaper and easier than shipping it. Most of my tariff charges went up from 0% to 35%. And they will cut any corner possible, so cut cost. Ive personally visited many of the factories, and that does make a huge difference in the relationship, but dont ever think that your guanxi will come before making a buck.

dude why dont find a sources that has a facorty outside of china to avoid the 35% tariff, i heard many guangdong factory owners arre building factory in vienam or mexcio

@@mostjoyfuldadonearth Do they really have a factory? Or just move the product down to the border and have someone hand carry (or bicycle) it across the 河口 border and then ship if from Vietnam? Ive seen that before at the border.

@@dcmotive I mean go there really dig into it, see the actual factory , check the production process daily etc. but it is too much effort not worth it, unless it is absolutely necessary. Yes, I have heard rumors about adding a made in Vietnam tag and ship from Guangdong/guangxi to vie, and then to worldwide, still cheap crappy quality. Or even kazakastan … Korea … Canada … Mexico.

Buying off of Alibaba is difficult, my seller was great, they sent me what I ordered but it took over 5 months to get my item. I was happy to get the stuff but it was a struggle I was really afraid that I wasn't going to get my order for a while there.

The same bar sold in us is more expensive. Is this for real? I get very cautious about a site that isn’t very specific and description is vague. Do you know if this is bad choice. It happened to me when I ordered to my 1st supplier where I ordered my electric scooter. i needed a piece to repair. They were late to send it so I asked to be refund before the insurance end. I received the good the next day after being refunded and it wasn’t what I ordered. At least I was refund but the repairman couldn’t fix my electric scooter. Lesson learnt but at least I had my money back

After I figured out how to get a shipping agent and buying directly from chinese wholesale sites, everything alibaba looks crazy expensive to me😂I also had suppliers straight up sell my custom made products to other customers or try to sell me someone else's product. it's great to get started though

I have bought a lot of eyewear parts in bulk quantities and I have never had a problem. Alibaba has done a great job of vetting suppliers when I bought from them.

You should ask what the cost is with tax, door to door delivery and custom clearance. Also check if verified with the alibaba assurance. If u got all that done and the price seems right then yeh buy it.
