Makeup goes back to prehistoric times. Red ocher is found in Neanderthal burials. Cromagnon man was using all the cave painting minerals on their bodies. In fact, it is all about the same stuff as it was. The Egyptians knew just how much lead to put into makeup to kill microbes, but not enough to damage people. The maya used blue pigments in their religious ceremonies. They were also using tar. Imo people will never stop using cosmetics ever.

Unless you have a major zit going on or something, I don't understand why wear makeup at all except for the fact that other women have created the standard of wearing makeup as 'normal' (because they were brainwashed by companies). If women would all band together and just stop painting their faces every day, our daughters would have less of a complex about their appearance AND would be healthier. You teach your daughter self-hate every time you pound a gallon of makeup on your face in front of her and tell her you're not pretty without it.
@DrawnByDandy6 жыл бұрын
Fearmongering much? Literally everything is made of chemicals. Saying what else an ingredient is used for doesn't make it inherently dangerous. The only really useful part was where we're told what specific chemicals to look out for, like titanium dioxide and parabens.

well sorta true, ambergris sometimes passes right through the whale n out the nether end sometimes ,sometimes coughed up ..think bird of prey pellet kinda thing.. So though a bit gross it does no harm to the whale. The stuff washes up on beaches all over the world. Guy in UK found a huge piece which was valued at £100,000 "Ken Wilman said his boxer dog Madge found the 6lb lump, which could be worth £100,000, in Morecambe, Lancashire So bit gross for sure yeah ..but would sure like to find a 6Ib lump of ambergris
