Asa creator myself, great point about the family dinner table. The hard part of this content game is taking the ego out and just spreading your message. Its not our job to convince, furthermore the dopamine rush from views is also a large part of it too

As a follower of shafi’i ,the more I watch sidi Sheikh Dr. Shadee Elmasry alMaliki حفظه الله the more I am affirmed that Islam (أهل السنة والجماعة) is still in existence. May Allah ﷻ preserve sidi Sheikh Dr. Shadee Elmasry alMaliki, bless him with health, wealth, prosperity and live long. Aamiin Allahumma Aamiin

Jazakallah Khair for positing this. There are brothers who are bringing their wives and perosnal opinions sprinkled in their videos, using comedy but also making it like a show with arrogant personas that really need to be checked. Goes to show how important it is to get knowledge from shiyukh vs social media personalities. Whats really disappointing is young people or people seeking guidance genuinely being drawn to these channels and asking** for opinions of these personalities for directing their lives. May Allah guide us all and protect us from false knowledge. Ameen.

*Essence of Dawah* - *Dawah* (Islamic invitation) is an expression of humility, not pride. - *Dawah* message is written not with ink, but with tears. - *Dawah* is conveyed in the language of love, not hatred. - *Dawah* is accomplished through prayers, not slogans. - *Dawah* is a divine act, not a national act. *Maulana Wahiduddin Khan* *Diary; December 1989*

Great and very needed video. I think there is a pandemic of lack of meaning in life that riles up this type of attitude. I came across a sheik (I will prefer to keep unnamed) that constantly talks out of his capacity, mixing military tactics and geo-politics into a view that can cause a very sensitive situation to blow up in a full blown global disaster. Unfortunately the layman would just assume this sheik knows as much about military tactics and geo-politics as much as he knows about Islam and just take on the position with full faith. A bad and irresponsible combination.

1. It doesn't necessarily need to cost a lot to gain knowledge. There are plenty of free resources online to study from Sunni Ulama. 2. Don't enroll in Zad Academy because it is wahabi institute

@SanaSarina3 ай бұрын
You can learn and not adopt every fatwa or fiqh an institution or scholar says, wahabi or otherwise. It’s called critically thinking for yourself as a Muslim. What I know is that Zad sources everything from the Quran and Sunnah, and for me, that’s helpful. Plus literal interpretations can’t hurt when so many social media influencers interpret out of their bum and then charge thousands for their courses or seek to entertain rather than educate. It’s a nice stark contrast. Somewhere in the middle you have institutes who will charge $10/mo to $250/course to $2500/semester. I appreciate the effort Zad puts into their courses and offer it for no price, it’s self study. Remember, seeking knowledge is a command by God. And if you go with the intention to increase your faith and become close to Allah, He will guide you. Fear Him only.
