When Dave ( think it was... ) was harping on about the chocolate sausage was when I started to broadcast in Cheltenham and listened in for several hours on Kiwi. Whilst here was deader than John Cleese' parrot, it was great hearing London being so vibrant. Great to hear it all. Happy birthday CB indeed!

Nice job Fred ! I have the same QT 60. Great radio . I haven't re programed any bands to UK 40 CB yet. I know what they are so I keep in frequency mode and just dial it in. CH 1 starts 27.60125 and up from 10 KHZ from their. We get some of that same mess on CB in the US as well. Lately in NY it is all spanish mostly with noise toys and echo mics. Have to free band lately. The EU band is just crazy ! Their is a new QT 60 PRO out that is shorter. I talked to one before. You can change that display a little with programming. Like that QT 60 to FRED . I tied my call but need 1 digit more. So I just put Bob. DX really going on CB world wide at times . I got New Zealand from NY . Cheers !

In Australia we use 476.4 to 477.4 MHZ . We can also use repeaters. We had idiots in the old 27 MHZ days, we called it carrier dropping. Probably still do but I've not been near a radio in years

I did partake in keying myself back in 1980 at age 8. I thought with CB not being as popular nowadays with the youths that it wouldn't be "A Thing" anymore & people could enjoy their pastime without Children getting involved. If everyone would/could drop out, they would be bored stupid. If you are one of those keyers, stop and listen, you will more than likely learn something that will enhance your own enjoyment of this Pastime. Just a thought....
@Vizardm7213 күн бұрын
There is always someone who tries to ruin it for everyone. I am sure they're just sat giggling to themselves feeling "The Power" it gives them. So Childish and immature, it's so sad.

Nice to see your efforts in promoting cb has been paying off and nice to see so many back using it again....dead as a dodo where i live ... pity about the Muppets keying mics ect ...sady idiots can be found in every hobby...i dont know how you can listen to all that hash between calls...dont you use the squelch ? And nice to hear dave isn't using that horrible echo 😂😂...keep up the good work 👍
